Absolutely nothing!!

Can't possibly just give a "10" rating!!! This was one of the absolute BEST places to stay!! Zrinka and her daughter Barbara were absolutely wonderful and so hospitable. You feel like family from the minute you enter the door!! There was never a request that couldn't be accomplished! The facility was beautifully decorated and maintained and the rooms were incredibly comfortable! The breakfast spread was to die for, with amazing homemade breads, yogurt, fresh fruit, juice, coffee, eggs made to order, etc! They even provided lunch's for the visit to Splitvice National Park!

We had a fabulous stay at Zrinka house. We were greeted upon arrival with tea and cake. So nice after a long drive. Breakfast was fantastic and they brought out bread and meats/ cheeses so we could make our own lunch for a day at Plitvice park. The room was gorgeous and the hotel hosts could not have been kinder or more helpful. I would suggest this place to anyone I know coming to this area.

Barbara and Zrinka were amazing hosts--so kind! Not only were the room and the food outstanding, they welcomed us with a homemade treat and then at breakfast the next morning (which was a HUGE buffet),they provided us with bread, meat, and cheese and a sack for a picnic lunch for our time at Plitvice.

Couldn't be improved

We arrived soaked to the skin from an afternoon walking around the lakes and waterfalls of Plitvice National Park in torrential rain. We couldn't have wished for a better welcome from Barbara. The huge room was warm, with plenty of places to dry our clothes. A hot shower and then downstairs to be given tea and cake in the lovely dining room. The house is quirkily decorated with paintings everywhere. We went to one of Barbara's recommended nearby restaurants which was excellent. Breakfast was a vast and varied feast presided over by Barbara's mother and she also left provision to make a packed lunch.

Nothing. Everything was perfect.

A very spacious room; exceptionally clean and tidy, and a short drive to Plitvice Lakes. But the absolute best part is the brilliant service provided by Zrinka and her daughter Barbara. They are so friendly, accommodating, and knowledgeable, and provide a stunning breakfast while encouraging you to take extra food with you for a later picnic. Couldn’t rate higher.

There was nothing not to like!

Zrinka House is an experience unto itself! Every detail was perfect and the afternoon coffee and cake after hiking Plitvice could not have been better!

Exceptionally friendly hosts and staff. Free parking. Great breakfast with homemade cake, biscuits plus cold meats and cheese for packed lunches. Spacious bedroom and bathroom with good shower. Quite position, great nights sleep.

Amazing accomodation with beautiful host. Zrinka and her daughter are so friendly and nothing is a problem. Rooms are a good size and very clean, breakfast was excellent and the ability to make yourself a sandwich to take to the national park was a bonus, also the homemade cakes and cookies were a lovely touch. After a long day of travel or sightseeing to be able to sit on the veranda and have a refreshing drink and homemade cake was perfect, all inclusive. Highly recommend Zrinka House.

There was absolutely nothing not to like

This Was the best hospitality I have ever received in my 66 years of life. Home made cakes to die for. “Hostess with the Mostess” took a whole new meaning. Breakfast was superb and we were handed paper bags to make sandwiches for our journey from the breakfast buffet in the morning. Don’t even hesitate, location to plitvice National park very ideal and great restaurants to chose from..lovely property and the rooms as sweet and comfortable as it should be.

Beautiful and welcoming property. The large rooms are exquisitely decorated- chrystal chandeliers, very comfortable bed, large, well-equipped bathroom, and innumerable little touches anticipating every need. The included breakfast was fresh, had so many choices, and homemade cakes. Try to stay more than one night! And only ten minutes from Park entrance.

House was beautifully decorated, room was spacious and comfortable, breakfast was delicious (included homemade desserts) and we were encouraged to pack up a bag for lunch. Although it was the end of the season, Barbara welcomed us like we were long-lost family. We felt like royalty staying here, would definitely come again if we’re in the area.

Nothing, it was great.

Location was great, a short drive from Plitvice National Park as well as supermarket and petrol station. Great views all around the property. Zrinka and Barbara were amazing hosts. They were so friendly and welcoming and couldn't seem to do enough for us. They prepared a great breakfast, catering to our specific needs as my girlfriend is vegan. Barbara even greeted us with a packed breakfast/brunch when we left for the airport at 6am Room was spacious and comfortable and very clean. Barbara also recommended a trip to Rastoke which we managed to get to one afternoon and that was a lovely small village just 20min drive away.

This is a superb place to stay. Spacious, luxurious rooms with comfortable beds and excellent shower. Zrinka and her daughters are extremely welcoming and warm. We arrived soaked from heavy rain during our visit to Plitvice Lakes. We were given early check-in and welcomed with hot tea and a slice of cheesecake! This family-owned business is dedicated to making their guests feel welcome and comfortable. In all our travels, this has been the best accommodation experience.

People couldn’t be nicer. We arrived at 8:00 PM. Staff offered to cook us a meal. We said no; they insisted on a great dessert and a glass of wine. Then, in the morning we had a great breakfast , along with everything we needed to take with us for lunch. Incredible!

Nothing - everything was perfect, wish we could have stayed longer!!

Our stay here was excellent - fabulous hospitality from Zrinka and her team. Our apartment was beautifully presented, immaculately clean with a lovely comfy bed! Breakfast was delicious with lots of choice and eggs cooked to order. Zrinka encouraged us to make a picnic for ourselves from the breakfast buffet for our trip to the Plitvice Lakes - every table was supplied with white picnic bags, so thoughtful! The location of Zrinka is perfect to visit Plitvice Lakes and close by to local restaurants. Would highly recommend staying here and being spoilt with Zrinka’s amazing hospitality!

We loved the Zrinka House from the moment we arrived. The staff was so welcoming and offered homemade cake while we relaxed from our drive. The room was spacious and very clean. The neighborhood was quiet and the interior of the house beautifully decorated with tasteful artwork and the outside had beautiful flowers everywhere. Breakfast was delicious including eggs to order and homemade breads. We were a few miles from Plitvice National Park which made for a perfect day of hiking. Thank you to the staff for a most enjoyable few days.
