Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. This is a great little place, tucked away in the old Gothic Qtr. Close to metro Liceu on the L3 line and easy to access all Barcelona sights. Close to some great bars and tapas restaurants. Very friendly and helpful staff (especially Maria and Nuariel). Clean basic room (mine was a small single with shared bathroom). Very clean bathrooms and a good shower. 24hr reception, was great and safe in each room was a bonus too. They also have bigger rooms with bathrooms. Would recommend as it is excellent value for money.

GermanyCheck-in was supposed to be at 13.00 but we couldnt enter our room until 14.00. That was frustrating. The room didnt had A/C, it had a ceiling fan. But it was still a bit hot. Also a fridge in the room could be great
The location was really good. It was in the center Gotic Area. You could see a lot of historic places by foot. It was close to Metro and Bus stations. The shared restrooms were really clean, they clean a few times a day. And the room was cleaned daily. The staff was really helpful.

BelgiumThere were non smoking signs everywhere, but there was a unbearable stench of joints in the little hall that gave acces to our room and 2 other rooms. Yet nobody intervened to reprimand the guest who was smoking joints in his room. There was also a lot of noise from the other guests, even at night.

The location is superb. The harbour is just down the road, lots to do on your doorstep and near to the Metro. It was good to have a sink in the room and a comfy bed. Housekeeping came in everyday so the room was clean and fresh.

IrelandIt was in the heart of the Gotic Quarter. Everything was at walking distance. Reception staff were friendly, helpful, and knowledgeable about the city and sites to see. The cleaning of the room was very good. Clean towels every day, and the bed was also made every day. The shower and toilet were very clean too. As we were staying on the top floor and there is no elevator in the building, it it not suitable for people with a physical disability. The price is very low, we had good value for money. The only disadvantage I was able to think of is that you can hear the people in the next room very well. For us, it was not a problem. We had a great stay there and I will definitely go there when I return to Barcelona.

Poland- The district it's located in has very narrow streets which means there's never any sun in the rooms - I'm not a huge fan of the system that the room keys have to be given to the reception for safekeeping whenever going out, but I understand that it is so for security reasons (and the reception is open 24/7 anyway)
+ My room had a sink which I found very comfortable, it definitely reduces the traffic in the public bathroom (which already wasn't big; there were two bathrooms on the floor and one of them was usually free) + WiFi always working + The rooms were cleaned daily, trash taken out etc, it's a very clean facility + All staff speaks English and is very helpful + Location is very good, plenty of restaurants around, close to the harbour, the cathedral and Montjuic, close enough to metro stations
