Loved everything!

Fantastic! Great locaiton on a wonderful street near everything we wnated to see or do. Great restaurants nearby as well as coffee shops.

They requested us to check in & a deposit payment few days in advance, but room was not ready when we arrived. We informed arrival between 14:30, check in 15:00-16:00, but had to wait till after 16:30. They explained it was because a cleaning staff got injured in its terrace, and that info made us uncomfortable to go into the apartment, especially the terrace, wondering how that happened. The apartment size was ample, has a large terrace located a great address. The apartment was equipped all necessities in minimum quantities. We felt interior needed updated. Also cushion covers & bed cover need to be washed to refresh.

The upstairs guests were extremely noisy until one in the morning, moving furniture, banging noises, heavy footsteps. I messaged the staff and they said they would speak to the guests. To be honest they were even worse the next day/night but I didn't want to bother the staff again, so that was my own fault not to complain. I guess some travelers don't care about others. It wouldn't put me off staying again.

Beautiful apartment. Really clean. Everything you need in apartment. Great location. Helpful staff, very responsive. I broke a kitchen utensil and I offered to pay to replace it and they said it wasn't a problem.

We did experience significant problems with both attempts to arrange transportation directly through BCN Rambla Catalunya (BCN) or with a company advertised by them. The first attempt was upon our arrival at Barcelona airport. We had arranged and prepaid for transportation through BCN. I informed BCN of our flight number / arrival time and stated that I did not know how long it would take to clear Immigration Control & Customs. BCN assured me the driver would monitor the situation and meet us. It took us 90 minutes to clear ICC and the driver was not there to meet us. We had to forfeit the $100 we prepaid and pay an additional 50 Euros for a different taxi. BCN had sent me a text to my laptop a few hours before our airport arrival notifying me that the driver would on wait 60 minutes, by that time it was too late. In the second occurrence, we had arranged and prepaid for a taxi from BCN to the cruise port; the taxi service is advertised by BCN. The taxi never showed up despite us waiting 30 minutes passed the pickup time. We had to catch a different taxi and once again pay twice for a service. I felt we were due at least a partial reimbursement for the first instance, but BCN refused to even accept that this was any of their issue.

Excellent location! BCN Rambla Catalunya is located close to two major Barcelona thoroughfares, walking distance to the Hop-On/Hop-Off tourist bus stop, and proximal to all types of restaurants and shopping. The apartment itself has authentic "Old Spanish" room decor, with functional amenities. The staff was very responsive, helpful and courteous. We would definitely stay here again! BTW - there are tourist protests here in Barcelona, but none of us ever experienced any negativity. It was actually quite the opposite; everyone we encountered was friendly and we always felt safe.

- Water was coming out from the shower floor to the bathroom floor probably because of improperly sealed shower panel.

- Great central location in one of the best areas of Barcelona. - Very spacious flat with beautiful decoration and furniture. -Comfortable beds with high quality mattresses. - Fully equipped kitchen if you want to prepare meals. - 2 spacious bathrooms, one with bathtub and one with shower. -Quiet considering its central location and busy Rambla in front due to the good soundproofing.

This is a beautiful apartment with lots of room to spread out. There are two bedrooms and a foldout couch, perfect for our family of 4.

Unfortunately, the place reeked of stale tobacco smoke. I eventually extracted an admission from the staff that a previous occupant broke the rules and smoked in the apartment. Must have smoked like a chimney! They said they did a ‘deep clean’ afterwards, but the bins in the kitchen and bathroom both stank of emptied ashtrays and they weren’t replaced even though staff said they would. I told BCN Rambla they should never have let the place out when it stank of smoke and they knew it did, because they supposedly deep cleaned it. An offer to move us to another apartment during our stay was made, but not accepted because of the disruption and inconvenience it would entail. Should not have put us in that apartment to begin with. Very pissed off and disappointed with all of that, but otherwise the place was really good. The staff were pleasant when trying to address my complaint, at least. Sad, because we had stayed with them 10 years ago and had a positive experience then. Moral of the story is: always put the client first and you won’t end up in the wrong end of a negative review…

Showers are small but functional!

Apartment was beautifully presented exceptional clean. Perfect location for our family. Not sure would the balconies suit family’s with small children. We were on the 4th floor and the views were amazing. Would definitely recommend for location and quality!

The two double bedrooms are separated by a dressing area and a curtain so you can hear all activity . The balconies are very small so you cannot sit out comfortably

The location of the property of perfect. It was within walking distance of everything we needed. It was 2 blocks from the Gaudi hotel with a view from our room. The hotel itself was beautiful and very comfortable! When returning to Barcelona we will stay there again!
