How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We use a weighted review system which means that the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive information (e.g. emails, phone numbers or credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (e.g. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
Guidelines and standards for Reviews

Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.

There was someone at reception. There was also a lock box too just incase we couldn't get in or reception was closed.

Good communication in advance, parking immediately opposite was a bonus. Good clean comfortable apartment which was all we needed for 1 night.

When we arrived we were unable to locate our keys in order to unlock our apartment. So there was alot of waiting whilst on the phone with reception as the office was only open until 5pm.
The location was good as it was around 20 minutes walk away from the city "Placa de Catulunya" and a 6 minute taxi ride. It was a little loud at night as was near alot of pubs and shops. The actual apartment was extremely clean and provided a washing machine, and dryer. However if you want to cook using an oven there is none provided. Reception was helpful for inquiries though.

Excellent service at the reception. We were able to leave our luggage at an early check-in and calmly went for a walk around Barcelona. Three separate bedrooms, two bathrooms, kitchen equipped with everything you need for a comfortable stay. One of the best accommodations that is worth its price!!!! Wonderful area.

Everything was great
The apartment was amazing! It was clean, comfortable and had the most beautiful roof top deck. The apartment was super well equipped for everything we needed (e.g. coffee, kitchen, washer, bathroom). The location was amazing! We were steps away from the metro, cafe's all around and very nice restaurants. We should have bought food to eat breakfast at the appartment, because it was so well equipped and the roof top deck was so beautiful. I loved waking up in the mornings and having coffee looking at the vencejo birds. We will definitely come back to this location.

The aircon didn’t seem to be working particularly well in the twin bedrooms. We would’ve liked a little more space in the bathrooms to store toilet bags.
We loved the aircon in the main bedroom & the bathrooms. The living room was spacious and the location was very handy to get to the places we wanted to visit during our stay. The beds were very comfortable. The staff at the reception were exceedingly helpful.

To be truthful there was nothing we didn’t like.
Jordy and the other members of his team were fantastic. Every question we asked was answered and we received many recommendations for restaurants and activities. It was great being able to leave our luggage in a safe place both while waiting for the apartment to be available and when leaving for the airport after we checked out. We would definitely recommend staying in these apartments.

There was some street noise which took some time to get used to, especially at night, but to be expected when in such a central location.
Nice, bright and spacious apartment in an excellent location. Lots of great restaurants around and easy walking to lots of main attractions.

There were lack of equipment in the kitchen and we had some problems with the dishwasher
