  “Our stay at Casa Maroma was absolutely wonderful. Marc and Charlotte go out of their way to make guests feel welcome. Charlotte is incredibly sweet, and Marc has a great sense of humor (remember Medusa? :)). Cómpeta is a charming little town, and the hotel is perfectly located right in its center. Parking is very convenient compared to other places we’ve stayed, as it’s only a 3–5 minute walk from the accommodation. The terrace is beautiful, and we can’t wait for the barbecue to start working as well. And one more thing: the breakfasts are simply W-O-N-D-E-R-F-U-L. Highly recommend this place to anyone!”

  “Lovely relaxing villa set in a private location amongst the mountains. It features three bedrooms (two on the ground floor, with one of those in a separate building next-door) and has two bathrooms, as well as a spacious pool that doesn't use chlorine and two outside seating areas, with one offering views across the picturesque landscape. We stayed a week and absolutely loved it! When booking I was a little concerned about how the drive there would be after reading the comments, and yes it is a quiet narrow and windy road for 15 minutes and yes I wouldn't take a Ferrari down there, the last few metres are also quite steep (25% gradient), but overall I didn't find it an issue in our little Volkswagen. The road is still tarmacked bar a tiny 20 metre section. When you come out of the villa, I wouldn't suggest turning right, instead turn left and go the long way around. You will need to drive about 30 minutes to reach the coast, hikes and shops.”

  “The location was perfect, the facilities were excellent and it was spotlessly clean. On arrival Antonio explained how everything worked and made us very welcome. Views from the terrace were lovely. A really comfortable spacious apartment. We will certainly visit again”

  “The decor was just beautiful in the house and everything was perfect . Anthony and Ian were so warm and friendly . Made us feel so welcome and gave lots of information about the village and local area and great restaurants around us . Breakfast was great ,gorgeous fresh croissants and variety of eggs , fresh fruit or local Spanish tomato dish .”

  “Perfect location for walks or just relaxing. Breakfast was served at 9am, varied slightly each day. No other food available during the day, however the local village is only a 25min walk or 5min in a car. Some lovely restaurants to choose from. Using the hotels WhatsApp link allows the owners/staff to organise any reservations with great local knowledge. Overall a great find, very clean, easy parking and wonderful views.”

  “The accommodation was gorgeous and felt like home, it was spotlessly clean and had everything you would need. The two terraces were lovely and provided a great outdoor space. The owner was fantastic and made sure everything was as we needed both before and during our stay, including offering to research transport between the airport and the village.”
