Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We use a weighted review system which means that the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly without limiting expression of strong opinions. They are also applicable regardless of the sentiment of the comment.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. I had a great stay at this hostel! The location is perfect, it’s very clean, and it has such a cozy atmosphere with a great view. The breakfast is fantastic, and coffee is available all day. Since I was working remotely, I especially appreciated the plenty of indoor space and the calm environment – it’s perfect for coworking! Sofia and the rest of the staff are incredibly attentive, kind, and always willing to help. If you’re staying in Cali, don’t miss this place! 🥰

United KingdomI was flying into Cali late so I'd checked they would be ok with a late check-in. However they messaged me a few hours before check-in to say that the room I'd booked wasn't available, leaving me scrabbling around for another Hotel. There was no offer to find me another suitable room which I found frustrating. This isn't the first time it's happened to me in Columbia, but wouldn't happen in many other countries I've travelled in.
I'd booked this hotel several days in advance because of the location and the price.

GermanyPersonal is very slow. Breakfast takes 1 hour, because there is only 1 person that makes reception and makes breakfast for all guests and reception has higher priority. Add well I got the wrong room in the first night and during the change of rooms my luggage was lost and I came back in the night at 1 am we had to see the budget for approx 1h... Floor of the room was dirty.

Everything went great. The team is kind and helpful, the location is really good, the breakfast is great with fruits, eggs and toasts, there's plenty of bathrooms, and our room was quiet, with a window opening to an inner court. There's a laundry service and we had the possibility to store our bags during our last day after the checkout

AustraliaWhile there were loads of facilities around ( restaurants, shops etc) the walk to the tourist site was a little long (2k) because it is hilly. Me, loved it!
The best part was the special attention received at breakfast, made me feel like I was in a 4 star hotel! Service was excellent and gracious ( not faked!)
