The shared shower (which we were aware of) was very small - but the mat you stepped out onto was dirty - would suggest a wooden slat thing to use instead. Mattress was ok, but soft and lumpy. The room was hot but too noisy on the street to leave our window open. Cooking facilities were OK- did what we needed to do. Lidl and Migros 5 min walk away.

Well placed on the main road in Kriens, just a short walk to the Cable car for Mount Pilatus. Staff member Apple was so lovely and helpful. Easy to get in and out of Lucerne - bus No 1. The hostel was very good at responding with me when I had questions before I arrived.

A bit far from city centre but still you can take bus 1 from Kriens stop for city centre and it’s about 10 minutes by bus.

The hostel is good if you want to live in Lucerne in an economical way. There is also a big is a kitchen for cooking.

The beds were making sound if we move while sleeping in the night. I would recommend couple of more fans as one side of the room has no access to windows and could get hot during summers

The location is close to Mt Pilatus cable car station and not far from the centre.  The size of the bedroom with two single beds quite big.  It does not have a lift. There is a washbasin in the room. The heater does not work. There is a  kitchen and an eating room. Breakfast is 10chf per person  but I did not have breakfast at the hostel.  Shared bathroom and WC is clean. In my third floor There is one bathroom and one WC for 6 double rooms. We were lucky, we did not wait to use them.  There is a big locker for luggage near the receptionist. You can put one medium luggage or two small luggages. The stations of train, bus and cruise are very close to each other. There is a bus no. 1 stop A to Bellpark Hostel from Lucerne train station.  It took us 10 minutes to the hostel. You need to stop at Hoffman Bellpark in front of the Hoffman and walk around 2 minutes to the hostel. No need to cross the road, you can see the sign of  the hostel.

The kitchen is shared, and not all the people left it clean after themselves, but it's not the fault of the accomodation.

You can walk into downtown, but also can take the bus. There is a Lidl and a Kiosk nearby. There is a leisure room, with darts and foosball table.

Bed are made of steel which makes huge noise,, if person sleeping at one tier takes turn,the person sleeping at other tier is totally disturbed due to noise and vibration of the bed and sleep is totally disturbed Bed should be wooden

For budget travelers and solo travelers, this is best place to stay, it's cheaper in comparison to other stays, it's location is fantastic as bus no 1 from terminal A of main bus station takes you directly in front of hotel, so no need to search the hotel in streets, Pilatus ride starts at walking distance Kitchen and sufficient dining space make it more comfortable

The bathroom was common which was known but surprisingly it was being shared by people living in 6 rooms. This is insane as it creates delays due to 10 -12 people using the same bathroom with huge hygeine issues. Moreover, it was not clean.
