Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We use a weighted review system which means that the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):

When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

United KingdomThe room was a bit compact and the air-conditioning could be quieter. The hand-wash area seemed blocked, which made it less convenient. Breakfast options were quite limited, with mostly bread, pancakes, and juice—I would have appreciated a bit more variety such as eggs or sausages.
The stay was affordable and the room was clean enough for a short visit. Staff were friendly and helpful, and I appreciated being able to check in after hours.

AustraliaIt is really awkward to get into and get out of, trying to u-turn across multiple lanes of traffic. I am a country person who was staying the night to meet someone at the airport the next day. Air-conditioner was noisy. TV too dim, with really basic remote and I couldn't figure out how to change the brightness setting. Nowhere to go within easy walking distance. I couldn't get the snack vending machine to work. Either it was broken, or they need to include more steps in the instructions. I was too intimidated by my initial difficulty in getting into the place to take my car out again to get dinner. I had paid in advance for breakfast. There was only one type of cereal, and tea and coffee appeared not to be included, as the sign said that it was $4. It appeared that keycard access to my room was turned off during my breakfast and I had to be manually let back into my room to collect my luggage, even though it was before checkout time.
Clean bed within easy driving distance of the airport, with a better price than the airport Ibis.

Look, it just had a good vibe. The night before I was at the mantra, nice place but no vibe. This place was like an Asian hotel. I don't mean that in a bad way. It had a feel to it. I'll stay there again.

AustraliaI'm a Cleaner so shower wasn't cleaned properly and should have 2 brand new toilet rolls in it, not 1 and a half. Fridge didn't have a knob so I couldn't turn it down after it froze my stuff, so I had to turn it off. The basin tap needs fixing as it's wobbly. I stayed in Room 213.
It was close to my mate where he lives 5 mins away. It was close to pub and shops.
