Alex and his wife make the stay. Alex is so personable. At Breakfast , you feel like you are greeted by family. Great location, 25-30 minutes walk from all major sites and a 6 minute walk to 2 Italian restaurants. Our room was quiet, clean and dark at night. What more can one ask. I am a very particular person, and this place is perfect. Parking is great too- right there, no extra charge.

We loved our time at the Villa Verde. Alex and Iris were gracious hosts. They helped us with recommendations, directions to get us to old town with a map, as well as provided us with a delicious breakfast! Our room was perfect. Very comfortable and relaxing. The location was a short 15 minute walk to old town. We stayed two nights but we wished we had stayed longer!

Alex is always kind and incredibly helpful. The cleanliness here is outstanding even many 5-star hotels can’t match it. The rooms are spotless with very comfortable beds, and the breakfast is simply amazing. This is my second stay, and definitely not the last…

The only thing I can think of is it is a little way from the centre of town (although there were busses not far away)

Excellent, nicely furbished guesthouse Great location: already in the green belt of the city but the center is just a few bus stops away Great selection of healthy food and regional products for breakfast - and let's not forget that the music at breakfast is from a record (LP) :)

Everything ! From the moment we walked in we were made to feel incredibly welcome. The room was lovely with great little touches. Really useful information given to us about Salzburg & what a beautiful place. Great that we could park there for no extra charge & the breakfast also included which was lovely. We cannot recommend highly enough.

Funny and very friendly hosts.. location is fairly quiet yet near to cafes and supermarkets.. saw a few halal cafes too. Loved the stay.. room is enough for us 3 and it was very clean and neat

There was nothing to dislike.

The owner was extremely friendly and helpful. Access to the b&b after hours was made easy. My room felt cozy and comfortable. They allowed me to keep my luggage there for the duration of the day as I had to leave late evening again which was very helpful.

The hotel is easily accessible by public transport, friendly, well equipped, uniquely decorated. Alex's ( the owner ) pictures are fantastic. Very polite and friendly welcoming , you feel at home immediately. They serve a very good breakfast, everything is freshly made. In the room you will find everything you could need. This is a highly recommended hotel , I wish we could stay longer.

Your hosts, Iris and Alex, have created a fabulous B&B that exceeded my expectations. Everything was perfection, from my lovely, well appointed room, comfy bed, staff attentive to detail, INCREDIBLE breakfast (well beyond the usual offerings including homemade jams/preserves, artisan bread & cheese selection, yogurts, fruit, cereals, lox & cured meats, espresso, and eggs as you like them!). The charming hotel is clean, quiet, safe and well maintained--surrounded by gardens. It is about a 20-30 minute walk from the Aldstadt of Salzburg with walking/biking paths at the street, and good restaurants nearby. I am a woman 60+ traveling solo and it was truly a gem. Highly recommend!
