How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We use a weighted review system which means that the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive information (e.g. emails, phone numbers or credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (e.g. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
Guidelines and standards for Reviews

The carpets needed cleaning in the shared area and the apartment they were the dirtiest I have ever had in a hotel or apartment and it was a shame because the rest of the apartment was clean and well maintained
Brilliant location for public transport and so many sights within a a short walk I was concerned by other reviews mentioning the nightclub in the basement. I am a very light sleeper, I could hear it when I was awake but it did not stop me from sleeping. It was avery light background noise

Great location, although there is a nightclub underneath which is open all night on Friday and Saturday in our room we could only barely hear it. Convenient for a major tube station and central Vienna is only a short walk away.

A bit more detail about facilities would have been helpful There is a laundry at site ,as we don’t know German had no clue about it ended searching around to found pvt laundry
Location is excellent, had issue with unlocking the door But were very quick to respond

We did hear noise from the club downstairs. Its also very busy infront of the building. There is a buss stop right infront the door, with people waiting for flexbus.
The location is quite good, close to metro, tram and busses. Supermarcet and multiple restaurants less then a minute walking away.

Overall the apartment was clean but carpet could have been cleaner as there were bits of dust and small stains.
We loved the location and ability to walk to all of the central sites as well as the excellent access to public transport. The apartment itself was a comfortable accommodation. The air conditioning was excellent during hot days however it was a bit weak in the bedroom but there was a fan provided that did the trick. Small kitchenette was handy for breakfast and light meals. Shower was excellent. We also enjoyed the balcony. Communication from apartment manager was friendly and timely. No major issues and we would stay again if returning to Vienna.

Perfect location, most major sites are within walking distance and very quite inside the apartment. In the middle of the city center and nearby a metro station, very convenient. Apartment is very clean and spacious. All the facilities are there and our apartment has also a complete kitchen. Internet TV with all the apps you need! Very pleasant stay!

Night club below apartment activated fire alarm at 5am. These things happen and it was managed by fire brigade and police efficiently. Did report to owner that in the back bedroom the central hallway alarm could not be heard. They acknowledged and said they would get rectified.

Cleanliness could be improved. The carpets were stained, but overall cleanliness inside the apartment was good. In the stairs leading down, there was a broken glass bottle, which remained there during our 3 day stay. Also, having a clothes washing machine could help for long stays.
Location is excellent. It is near the centre and near train stations. It is spacious. Provided with almost everything which we might need. Communication with hosts was good.

A music club is exactly at the same building of the apartment. We stayed during weekend and the electronic disco music was so annoying that made us couldn't sleep. It opened throughout the midnight until Sunday morning 11am. Yes ..11am😞 (Though the host can't do nothing about this) But you can't imagine there in no noise restrictions in Vienna.
Excellent location , clean and spacious. Responsive host. Apart from the music noise, everything is perfect there.

There was a big music concert or something on for two nights, went on to 4 am. Was very loud and difficult to sleep. People where around the apartment building making noise.
Very comfortable and the air-conditioning brilliant. Big and spacious and fantastic location. Very secure.

Carpet on the floor- as I am allergic I personally prefer wooden floor. Other than this every else was good.
