Booked one of the cabins included within the lodge accommodations. Was well equipped, clean and comfortable. This was our second visit to the lodge and we’re not disappointed with the level of treatment by the staff. Both ate & drank at the lodge’s bar, really good food and a good selection of beers, wines and spirits. Handy for accessing Yellowstone, just 10min drive to the East entrance.

They didn’t clean our room very frequently. Our bed sheets weren’t changed for over 3 days, I had to ask for the sheets to be changed and bins emptied. For a family of 4 there isn’t much storage space for suitcases and clothes, only a few draws, which isn’t very practical. Beds were comfortable, but too small to share a bed, felt squashed…our kids were ok having a bed each.

Misleading presentation: The photos on Booking.com show a modern, well-maintained apartment with high-quality furnishings. The actual apartment provided was completely different: old, worn, and partly damaged furniture. It was clearly not the unit shown in the listing. False advertising – Shuttle service: The website advertised a free shuttle service, which was the main reason we booked. Upon arrival it turned out this was not true. Shortly after we arrived, the listing was changed. This is clear deception and led to significant extra costs. Unacceptable conditions: The elevator smelled strongly of urine for days and was not cleaned. Mold smell: The apartment smelled strongly of mold. Kitchen and dishes: Despite being advertised as a “fully equipped kitchen,” the equipment was inadequate. Plates and glasses were dirty, partly damaged, and unusable. Basic items like a cutting board were completely missing. Pans and pots were badly scratched and filthy. It was impossible to prepare even simple meals. Basics like salt, pepper, or coffee filters were also missing. Broken dishwasher: From day one it didn’t work. No water during cycles, dishes stayed sticky and unusable. No repair or replacement was offered. Another guest had reported the exact same problems (broken dishwasher, missing cutting board, broken dishes) four weeks before our stay. This shows the property knows about these defects but chooses not to fix them. Other defects: Only a few power outlets worked. The room safe was broken. Noise disturbance: Severe disturbance from neighbors in the apartment below who repeatedly banged on the walls. Update – September 12, 2025 The landlord offered me 170$ as “compensation” — but only if I deleted my negative review first. There was no apology or any attempt to fix the serious problems. I refused this conditional offer. This clearly shows that instead of improving the property, the landlord is trying to have critical reviews removed (screenshots Available)

Versailles tower lift to pool not working for 5 days so had to walk through/around the casino no other way. Check in lines long so used kiosk still never worked?

The TV did not work at all. Picture kept pixelating. The stations cut out entirely. The gentleman who came up to look at it said he couldn’t do anything about it/. Was due to the Direct TV connection.
