2nd time at Microtel Inn. I really enjoyed the room. Clean and big enough and clear. Perfect location with grocery and big supermarket close by. Restaurants around. Very quiet place. Nice people at the reception and very nice housekeeping lady! Already planning to come back!!

- very nice neighborhood - the pool at the end of the day was a plus, but you had to cross to the other side to enter another building - everything you need to cook and it was clean - parking space included in the price - clear arrival instructions

So if you're someone who likes to sleep past 8am, you'll be delighted. If not, don't bother. We had a room overlooking the street, which overlooks the target. We were awakened every morning between 3 and 5 by target trucks that could not only unload but some stayed downstairs without any action with the engine running. We were treated to people screaming and also street cleaning. The apartment is not at all soundproofed as stated in the ad. We had also taken this apartment because it was "garden side" and well not at all it gave on the street. I contacted the owners to point out that : - that the kitchen light didn't work. I was promised an intervention. I got nothing in a week - I was offered a change of apartment 2 days before our departure. As I was pregnant, I asked where the accommodation was, as being pregnant and 2 nights before departure could require an extra effort. My interlocutor didn't try to understand and just replied "as you don't want the apartment, we'll allocate it to someone else". - the apartment was dirty. On the first day, like everywhere else, I took off my shoes and walked around in (white) socks, which turned black in three hours. The housekeeping left a lot to be desired. We even had the pleasure of having cockroaches on the breakfast table. - finally, the parking space is a compact space with only large cars. Despite my insistence that the accommodation booked was not as advertised - no "soundproof accommodation on the garden side" - the host only offered to reimburse me for the cleaning + service charges, i.e. $99 and $59 out of a total of $1,500. Very expensive for a week given the conditions. I'm now waiting to see if they keep their word regarding the refund and I'm going to contact booking anyway as this really isn't normal.

Room was big with full kitchen. Bathroom was nice. Parking easy ( at 10$ per day). Breakfast was good, not too many options but for two days more than enough. There is also a small market area if you need to buy something inside the hotel.

We liked the quiet location and the green surroundings of the apartment which offers a perfect size for a family of four. The lanai and the near-by pool are great.

My only criticism is that the doors to the rooms are very loud so you can always hear other people coming and going. But this wasn't a biggy. Just wear ear plugs.
