The staff and service were fantastic, totally a 10/10. The location was great - very close to where I needed to be and close to a Pavilions/Target, but also in a safe and cute neighbourhood. Loved that it was possible to find free on-street parking too.

My only complaint was that my ground floor room faced the street and my bed was only feet away from the sidewalk outside, and I wasn't sure how much people outside could see in with the non-blackout curtain. It felt like I had to choose between privacy and light. The bed was also wedged in between the wall and the shower and it would have been a tight fit for two people, but was cozy for one person.

Location was the only thing that I liked. The only nice staff were the young man at the reception & the maids for the bedrooms, plus the breakfast lady with blond hair. Everyone else were awful.

The maid making breakfast was extremely rude, & she worked most days. She talked down on us, controlled how people were eating, more concerned about people not bringing food to the rooms than quality service. Kicked us out of the lobby every day, didn’t care about being polite to my child at all. It was more like a boot camp or jail than a hotel stay.

Rats on property near the gym, pool, and outside bar/restaurant (photographs taken for evidence). Air-conditioning did not work in our room (also photographed). Extra charge for an umbrella at the beach. Disrespectful, unhelpful and sly valet parking staff. Ludicrous parking prices of $55/day, not made clear by the parking staff at the time of check-in. After asking for the price of parking before handing the keys over, we were shrugged off and told we could leave. Check-in was hectic with people all over the place. Valet staff moved and misplaced one of our suitcases without our knowledge. (Although the reception staff were pleasant). I also left some valuables in my room which have not been found (tracking information shows that the device was turned off a day after our checkout and we can no longer track the item). My fault of course for leaving them behind, but I don’t see how they can just go missing and they must have been taken. As a final note, we stayed in this property for 2 nights of our 15 night Florida vacation, this hotel was the most expensive per night by about 1.5 times (not including the hidden parking fees). All things considered this was by far the most disappointing and stressful hotel we stayed in on our trip, if not in my entire life. Currently waiting for compensation from the hotel. As Booking.com has been unable to communicate with them.

The smell from the lake was terrible so bad dead fish thousands of dead mussels in the water side and washed up on the shore the smell was horrible this lake has a lot of problems with health issues so bad both of us got asthma so bad The manager couldn’t be bothered answering any of our questions so we ended up leaving 😡
