  We got there in the afternoon, walked in, gave the portier my wyndham goldcard,and asked for a room with two queen beds, we was told a a straight up lie that hotel was fully booked. Got back to the car booked a room in the hotel with booking.com, went back to reception after 5 min, and wated to check in to our booked room, same guy behind the desk, asked to add my wyndham numbers for points which he refused by saying that the room was booked thru third party... horrible approach, asked for his name, he said that it was not of my business.... well the breakfast was very good!

  As a business (in the UK) we have been using Vive House Waikiki as an overnight stop off for 21 staff over a 2 1/2 month period. From the start they have been exceptionally helpful, courteous and all staff have reported back positively. Breakfasts were a bit hit and miss but it was easy enough to pop out to other places. The hotel is centrally located and close to the beach. We would not hesitate to use them again.

  The hotel was impressive and the staff were beyond helpful. The shared bathroom is honestly no big deal. The facilities were scrupulously clean. I would definitely stay here again and recommend this hotel to everyone.

  There was quite a bit of noise from other occupants opening and closing their bedroom doors which seemed to slam shut by default so if you're trying to sleep for an early flight that's a down side.

  Room is right by a busy road close to some kind of venue with loud music very late. If you want a relaxing experience this may not be for you. The parking was mentioned as included during booking but had to pay $35 for it. I had cancelled another booking in favour of this one. I think you can get much better for similar price.
