San Francisco, California
We truly enjoyed our stay at the Comfort Inn by the Bay. A special thank you goes to the hotel manager, who was always friendly, attentive, and very helpful – this really made our stay even more pleasant. The breakfast was very good for American standards: fresh fruit, waffles, bagels, eggs, and good coffee. Everything was well stocked, and the staff was attentive and welcoming. Our room was clean, comfortable, and well maintained. The beds were cozy, and despite the central location, it was quiet enough for a restful night’s sleep. The location is excellent for exploring San Francisco – Fisherman’s Wharf, Pier 39, and the Embarcadero are all within easy reach. We would definitely stay here again and want to thank the entire team for their warm hospitality!

The staff was really accommodating. The breakfast was really nice and had good variety. The rooms are clean and the bed is comfy.

The rooms are extremely tiny. The location is not central, but well connected with the subway. The bed was not very comfortable.
The room was modern and clean, but very small. Also, the bed was not comfortable. But the thing that bothered me the most, was the way both the hotel staff and Booking.com managed my personal tax exemption. Long story short, I did not get what was my right to have. Considering it is not even their money, I have stopped using Booking.com to book (I only use it to search the hotel), and I do not certainly recommend staying at the CitizenM Bowery.

The room was clean, the bed huge and comfy.
One staff member on check in, extremely slow, took 25 minutes. Rooms were huge but outdated. No facilities whatsoever other than 4 plastic wrapped cardboard cup. No coffee or tea facilities, glasses etc. Needed a big refresh. "Breakfast" was included but an interesting experience.

Wi-Fi was very poor, no Netflix on the Tv, no small wardrobe in the room (you need to hand your close on a very small rack, just enough for 5 hangars at the most).

“The property is modern, well laid out and freshly appointed. It is clean with modern fittings that help soothe weary bones after a long day on the Camino. The host Jose went the extra mile to make sure we had everything we needed to settle in. We were very comfortable, beds were sublime. Being 4 minutes to the main square with pubs and restaurants made it easy to refuel after the long day. Top marks all around. Highly recommended and would stay here again!”

Our room was exactly as advertised, comfortable and clean. Although the location is very central, noise was not an issue for us. Complementary coffee is also available. Staff provide a hair dryer whenever you need. Lastly, you can leave your bags in the hotel before or after checking out which was a huge bonus for us,”

“I like the feeling of being “at home”, the apartment is really beautiful, spacious, comfortable. The view is great, giving the fact there is not much to see. The cocoon on the balcony is the great photo-shooting spot. Everything was clean, well equipped, nearby Lidl is a bonus. Giving the fact that the railway station is literally 10 min of a slow walk - that’s the best place to stay in this city.”
