The resort also offers a garden with outdoor furniture, a minibar, bathtubs and ironing facilities. The staff were ridiculously nice, caring, and very genuine. The food was amazing - we loved the Sri Lankan food the most! The poolside bar has great service and food as well! Great location - right in front of surf and nearby shops.

The accommodation features a 24-hour front desk, airport transfers, room service and free WiFi throughout the property. One of the best experiences I had in Sri Lanka. The Sri Lankan are in general very warm and caring people, but these guys were exceptional. I had some problems with my bike on the way up, they picked me up and helped me to get it fixed. The contact was very easy and reliable over WhatsApp. Yes, the place is away from everything, but that’s what you‘re looking for if you go there and they make the access easy for you. They either send you the location to get there or pick you up and drive you safely with their jeep for the last part. Magic place, the cabin was simple but very clean, the perfect balance between being in nature and having a comfortable bed and good sanitaries. They offer very good breakfast, lunch and dinner and organise different tours to the rain forest (with transport). Thank you again for your help and for making my stay so special, I’d always come again!

Nestled amidst nature, it’s the perfect place for those seeking a calming retreat from the hustle and bustle. The spacious rooms exude warmth, and each is spotlessly clean, offering cozy comforts that make you feel right at home. But what took my breath away was the balcony view. Imagine waking up to the chirping of birds, an expansive forest that stretches as far as the eye can see, with the azure sky above and a tantalizing glimpse of the ocean in the distance. And the pool? Simply a dreamy oasis. At their restaurant, each dish is a culinary masterpiece, with flavors so authentic, you can taste the richness of every spice. A little tip: if you prefer milder flavors, do request them to tone down the spices. My stay was made even more memorable by the trips we took. The Galla Fort exudes historical charm, the tea trip was an enlightening journey into the world of tea-making, and the Kollaghan Lake was a visual feast with its picturesque islands, lively birds, playful monkeys, and yes, we even spotted a crocodile! The hotel is new and very clean. The rooms are spacious and you get a balcony with great Ocean view. The breakfast is delicious and the staff is very very kind and very attentive.

A water park is also available for guests at the lodge. We absolutely loved our stay at this beautiful rainforest getaway! Janith & his wife are really kind hosts, very helpful and passionate about the rainforest and the animals living there. Everything was really clean and we even got gluten free & vegan meal options. The food was delicious! We recommend choosing the local food options. Also the rainforest tour they organize is really special and recommendable! We loved it. Also the waterfall at the property is more than beautiful!

They gave us a free upgrade, like an apartment style building. Very swish, clean lots of space. Both fridge and kitchenette. Really good value. Plenty of shops and restaurants nearby, Beach only very short walk away.

The room was absolutely beautiful, and the bathroom was large and clean. The guesthouse is just around the corner from the beach, so it is easy to go for a quick swim. Upon check-in, we were greeted with a fresh king coconut. All the amenities (A/C, wifi, shower) worked great. The owner was very kind, he even arranged to drive us to Udawalawe.

Situated in the Mirissa Beach district in Mirissa, 500 metres from Whale Watching Mirissa, Resort of Happiness features air-conditioned rooms with free WiFi throughout the property and views of garden. Guests can enjoy the on-site restaurant. Loved the hosts, always helpful and trying to accommodate our needs. Clean, basic facilities and the location is great, close to everything. Plus a lovely garden to chill (beware of insects)

The accommodation features room service, a 24-hour front desk and currency exchange for guests. Beautiful beach, beautiful space, staff was helpful and very kind at all times.

The dining options include Sri Lankan and European ingredients and spices locally produced. Best time with my little family. So quaint, so relaxed, so easy and unpretentious. Everything was lovely, especially the staff.
