Gili Teak is such a hidden gem! The cottages give off jungle-chic vibes, and the outdoor bathroom with fish swimming around was such a cool touch—especially showering under the stars. Breakfast is served right on the beach, which makes for the perfect start to the day. Since there are no motorized vehicles on the island, you either have to walk about 25 minutes from the port (with your luggage, under the sun) or take a horse carriage. We weren’t too keen on the carriage, but didn’t have much of a choice.

The staff are beyond wonderful, so kind and caring. The room although on the smaller size is very thoughtfully done and they give you everything you could possibly need. 5 litres of drinking water per day, for instance!! The beach in front was calm to swim in and very pretty. Snorkel equipment was also provided and we could rent bikes at the property. Breakfast was very generous and delicious. On the whole we just loved our stay. Gili Air is like a slice of heaven! Special mention of Rizaan at the front desk who took great care of us!

Surrounded by white sands and clear waters, it has an on-site dive centre, an on-site cafe and 2 outdoor swimming pools. Breakfast is served daily at the rooftop terrace and guests enjoy free WiFi access in all areas. The staff were very nice. Easy to rent bikes and book trips. Got our washing done there. Pool was lovely as was the room. Breakfast was fab
