The staff is considerate, helpful, and full of good humour. This was by far the cleanest and most well-maintained hotel we stayed at in Egypt. The kitchen is well-stocked and free for use. The water and soft drinks are sold at market prices. Hamada and Mohammed are super helpful and well-informed. The dog is super quiet and well-behaved.

Obelisk Nile Hotel Aswan Resort is located on the Nile Corniche, just 5 minutes' drive from the centre of Aswan. All rooms have a garden view. Free Wi-Fi is available in the public areas around the lobby. Beautiful hotel by the banks of the Nile in Aswan, one of the best and central locations in the city. The staff was very helpful, the room was clean and good sized. They also helped us with a breakfast takeaway box for our early morning trip to Abu Simbel. The only small improvement I would suggest would be for them to get slightly more firm mattresses.

The flowers and towel decorations were so lovely that she didn’t even want to lie down — she kept opening and closing the door just to relive that magical first impression. When we returned in the evening, the beautifully plated birthday message and the delicious cake touched her heart once again. Above all, we are deeply grateful to Manager Rawan, whose kindness and care made our trip to Aswan truly special. Thanks to her thoughtful attention, we had such a happy and meaningful experience. We stayed here for one night - super location overlooking Lake Nasser - 5 minutes drive from Abu Simbel. The hotel is very impressive set in its own private grounds and with a great pool area. The room was very spacious and tastefully furnished. Cool balcony with a view of the Lake. On checking in, we were upgraded to have breakfast included - this was great as it cost around $30 each. The breakfast buffet had a great variety to suit all tastes. Would definitely stay again if we could afford to!

You can play darts at Miral Nubian House, and bike hire and car hire are available. Skiing and cycling can be enjoyed nearby, while a ski equipment rental service, a private beach area and ski-to-door access are also available on-site. The location is in a tranquil nubian village on the west side of the Nile. If you're with the car, you easily exit on a highway towards the Aswan Dam of Abu Simbel. The courtyard is a traditional one, the room was big, clean and with a good wi-fi. The host was careful and the surroundings looked safe. We also parked the car at the gate front and it was ok. The breakfast was tasteful and we served it outside in the courtyard. On the evenings, the lights from the courtyard make a warm and nice atmosphere. A good value for money!
