A most beautiful property on the Lake. As of late 2023 only two units on many acres of forest (palms, cinnamon, mango etc). The views from the room, the pool and throughout the property were pristine. Birds and animals including chipmunks, mongoose, swimming lizards, kingfishers, herons, eagles etc. The quiet and privacy. The attention to detail and maximizing both the views and privacy in the architecture was evident. With highly personalised and professional service, Chaturang greeted us and took care of our every request. The Sri Lankan breakfast was excellent. Very clean and diligently maintained. Stayed only two nights. Highly recommended.

This place was a dream! No reception, no check-in, everything is set up to make you feel in paradise as soon as you arrive. The staff throughout the hotel were very professional, friendly and extremely helpful. Special mention to Dumindu. He made our stay spectacular! He was so professional, helpful, friendly, polite and attentive to our needs. The food.. just incredible! The room was very spacious and well equipped with all essentials and fantastic view. We had monkeys just in front of our bedroom. I have no hesitation in recommending this hotel and the SPA and will come back for sure!

The stay was right in front of the beach ! Extremely amazing views and sunset views will make your day! The stay was comfortable and the food was excellent! The staff was very welcoming and helpful. Great breakfast and dinner at a reasonable price, also available for non-guests (our friends joined us for meals). The room had a dehumidifier, which kept our bed sheets and clothes dry. There was a comfortable balcony with a beautiful ocean view, and we enjoyed a fabulous sunset every evening. We traveled with our 5-month-old daughter, and the staff absolutely adored her. They were all smiling, kind, and incredibly welcoming to her and to us!

We got that hotel for a very good price and were really happy about the hotel although the reviews were mixed. Although the hotel is little bit old, they keep an eye on cleanliness and perfect service! Outstanding are the - staff service - most comfortable bed and pillows (like heaven!) Really good are - food - very clean (although the hotel is a little older) - pool During that time of the year, the beach in front of the hotel is not suitable for swimming. However, just a 5 minutes walk, there is a beach you can also swim during monsoon season. Definitely worth the money we spend!
