From the moment I was picked up at the airport, my stay here was exceptional. I felt genuinely welcomed by everyone — the receptionist, the staff, the waiters, and even the chef, who personally made sure I was happy with my meals. The waiters were always attentive. All the staff had great local recommendations. Meeting the owners in person made the experience even more special. Their warm hospitality created an atmosphere that made me feel like home. It’s a place I will be coming back to. I can’t recommend it enough!

Batonka is a beautiful, tranquil guest house located just outside the centre of Victoria Falls with easy access to the Falls and airport. The staff are very welcoming, happy and informative, rooms are fantastic, spacious, clean and very comfortable, pool is lovely and grounds beautiful.     We loved everything about our stay at Nguni Lodge. It is a small lodge in quiet, peaceful surroundings. The rooms are large and tastefully decorated. The bed was the most comfortable we’ve slept in on our trip. The gardens and pool are well maintained. The bar area is comfortable and a lovely space to relax away from your room. All meals are available but we only ate breakfast at the lodge. so I can’t comment on the lunch or dinner menus. Breakfast options were limited but provided enough to set you up for a day of activity. All the staff were lovely. Nothing was too much trouble and they went out of their way to handle any requests for assistance. I would highly recommend Nguni Lodge for your stay in Victoria Falls.

    The staff were really helpful and friendly. Breakfast was scrumptious and always served with a smile. The swimming pool was an absolute luxury and excellent for a cool off after an expedition. The bar had a good menu and a very pleasant barman named David. Booking trips was easy, thanks to the knowledgeable and efficient Elton on the front desk.

    Our room was located in a very nice and calm part of the hotel (No. 039). Furniture, bed and bath in good condition. Breakfast acceptable, all other dining and service sufficiently available. Special thanks to Cindy, Miriam, Camillo, Kerry, the team of three ladies in the kitchen plus all others of the house, really very friendly staff.

    The visit is well organised with well marked and positioned viewing points. The pathways is well made although in a couple of spots a little steep - you need to be careful not to slip. Be prepared to get a bit wet from spray.

    Look out cafe is amazing!

    Look out cafe is amazing! Courtney Lodge is a great place to stay! Victoria Falls Discovery Tours are the best to take you to Chobe and to book you the Helicopter Tour of the mighty Vic Falls Want some amazing fine wildlife photos to take home, then visit Tami Walker Fine Art Gallery. The best bacon for breakfast is at Ilala Lodge. They also have amazing accommodation with wildlife coming right to your room window (if you are lucky to be placed on the ground floor.

    It's a wonderful place to visit, offering plenty of activities for both adults and kids. While things can be a bit pricey since everything is in USD, we had a fantastic experience in a clean city with friendly, accommodating people. We also felt very safe walking around.
