- From US$213.76 per nightScored out of 10, guest rating 8.2Very good - What previous guests thought, 1,230 reviewsMy recent stay at Tanoa Tusitala hotel in Apia exceeded all expectations. From the moment I arrived, the staff went above and beyond to ensure a smooth and comfortable experience. Despite my early morning arrival, they accommodated me with a seamless check-in process, which was incredibly helpful after a long flight. The rooms were clean and well-maintained, providing a peaceful retreat after a busy day of work. The hotel's central location made it convenient for accessing key business areas and local attractions during my downtime. What truly stood out was the exceptional level of service provided by the friendly and attentive staff. Whether it was arranging transportation or providing recommendations for dining options, they were always willing to assist with a smile. Overall, Tanoa Tusitala hotel is the perfect choice for business travelers seeking convenience, comfort, and top-notch service. I highly recommend it and will certainly be returning on my next visit to Apia.Guest review byRenataFiji
- Scored out of 10, guest rating 8.9Fabulous - What previous guests thought, 497 reviewsIt may not be an obvious place because it is further inland from the action, but it surely is the right place. The view alone is worth the stay here. But Dave Parker's is much more than that. The outstanding hospitality of owner Lolita (in 4th generation) together with her long-time staff is unmatched. She's very hands-on and present. Mon-Sat you can take her up on a ride into town if you haven't rented a vehicle yet. Her recommendations for restaurants and car rentals in town are golden. Being further up high, the temperature is lovely. No AC needed. The beds are appointed towards the valley, lovely morning views included. The shower was one of the best we encountered in the region with strong hot water. The billiard room made for good evening activity.Guest review byEvaGermany
- Scored out of 10, guest rating 7.0Good - What previous guests thought, 461 reviewsThis hotel has seen better years. The equipment is already quite worn out. But that can be forgotten very quickly thanks to all the people who keep the hotel running. I have never met such extremely nice people and helpful in every situation. The accommodation was in beautiful nature and right by the sea, and the facilities provided were absolutely comfortable Overall, I can highly recommend this accommodation. If you are looking for accommodation by the sea and comfort, look no further. This is a type of accommodation that welcomes you with the pleasantness and willingness of the staffGuest review byRudolfCzech Republic
- Scored out of 10, guest rating 9.7Exceptional - What previous guests thought, 10 reviewsThis place is an exceptional little hideaway on the western coast. If you want a few days with nothing to do but swim with tropical fish in an idyllic setting, relax in a hammock or take a dip in the pool all without the crowds and the kids this place is for you. The owners are super friendly and accommodating and the staff melt your heart with their kindness and happy faces. Also the food was the best we had in all Samoa. We loved every minute and would return in a heartbeat. Best resort on Samoa. Thank you Chris and Roonie and the whole Seabreeze family. 🩷🩷🩷Guest review byLisaAustralia
- From US$400 per nightScored out of 10, guest rating 7.2Good - What previous guests thought, 107 reviewsThe staff were so friendly - within an hour they knew us all by name and were so accomodating. Our waiter (I think his name was Jerome) on the last night was fantastic, and the mother of the resort constantly checked in to make sure things were going well. It was a beautiful resort, more traditional in design than some of the other resorts we stayed in which added to the character.Guest review byLauraAustralia

There is so much more to Samoa to see than just Apia.
There is so much more to Samoa to see than just Apia. There are many beautiful resorts on the southern side of the island and many great snorkelling spots. 2 restaurants we enjoyed in Apia with Paddles and Giodarno's. We hired a car which made getting around alot easier & I would highly recommendGuest review byFionaAustralia - 6.0

I was only here for one night, for proximity to my early flight the next day. I would probably stay a couple of nights if returning to enjoy the facilites and surrounds. However, it is a long way from the other sights on the island like the To-Sua Trench and Namua island. The drive to those is about 2 hours on the slow roads.Guest review byKarenAustralia - 10.0

The staff were amazing from day one till the end of our stay. Everything went went well. We enjoyed our event on the second night and the food was much better compare to our first dinner. Thank you Saletoga for making our event memorable, will definitely come back and will recommend this place to all my friends and other families overseas.Guest review byIvonaNew Zealand - 10.0

Lovely place, very interesting culture, hired a car, went to swim at Turtle Bay, drove into the town to look around. Bought food at some of the local food places, but the best food and price was the resort itelf. To get around one does need to hire a car, they are expensive however. But to get the feel of Samoa, necessary. There are cheaper places to stay, it depends on what you want. A beautiful new airport complements the island, previously was a tin shed but what was lovely about that was the welcoming group singing and paying guitars. Sadly that does not happen at the new airportGuest review byCarolNew Zealand - 10.0

There is not much to do out in this area as its really the wharf town for the ferry out to Savaii. The Sheraton was close by to the wharf and the airport so it worked well for an overnight stay before flying home the next day rather than going all the way into ApiaGuest review bySteveNew Zealand - 10.0
Apia is stuck in 70s timewarp.
Apia is stuck in 70s timewarp. Slow, relaxed, friendly with limited options for food and entertainment. We loved it. We hired rental cars which gave us more options and also visited Savaii and the southern part of Upolu. The snorkeling is great and no boats required.Guest review byglenysNew Zealand
