We loved the Wydown Hotel, we stayed over a long weekend, as we were in St. Helena for a wedding. You couldn't get a better location for exploring the wine region, also for walking to the excellent selection of restaurants and lovely stores near by. The atmosphere in the hotel and the town was so friendly and welcoming, we felt at home. All the team working there were top notch. The lobby and breakfast area were relaxed but stylish. Our bedroom was spacious ,very comfortable, quiet, clean with everything we needed at hand. We really enjoyed our stay and would like to thank all of the great people working there, who helped us with every request we had. We would recommend the Wydown for anyone going to St. Helena.

Everything was amazing! The staff - particularly Nick at the front desk and Bobby in the spa - were so helpful. Lunch at the Lucy bar was just yummy. The pool was great. The steam shower in my room was heavenly. Love the location, the tranquility and the ecological commitment. Thank you so much for a beautiful stay.

    I like it’s location a lot, it was close to pretty much everywhere, the staff was really nice. We arrived several hours earlier than anticipated so we went to get some food and they managed to get our room ready very soon. The rooms were clean and neat, the service came and clean again while we were out which I thought was very nice of them. I think me and my family had great experience in this Inn. Unfortunately I was not able take pictures of the room because we turn it into a mess every time the service would come, which again I was really grateful for. By the way the sweets they brought were really good a really nice detail.

    From the date we arrived we have contact the front desk about TV on the bedroom not working. We left the facility still awaiting. Booking. com we paid with breakfast included and for our surprise it has a maximum amount per front desk on the 2nd day -- at checking this was not explain but I show then that in booking.com does not said that we have a maximum amount. This issue was a down side since Booking.com is clear and have all the policies and rules. The facility did not want to call booking sales rep and we have to do all the claim

And while not offering breakfast, they do a morning tea/coffee service where you pre-arrange the time and they bring tea/coffee some fruit and cake to the room (complimentary). For those wanting something more there are some nice cafes and bakeries within 2 minute walk of the hotel. Perfect location right on the main street.

    Napa is absolutely beautiful no matter where you drive. The weather was warm but still very comfortable. Downtown Napa is a great spot to eat, walk around, and shop, with a fun and welcoming atmosphere. Everyone we met was friendly, and the wineries are fantastic! Getting around is easy, but if you're planning to visit multiple wineries, I highly recommend hiring a wine driver; it’s super convenient and a great way to learn more about the area and its wine culture.

    In a very accessible part of the Napa valley. And home to hidden gems, if you can call Taylor's Refresher (Gott's Roadside) hidden. The downtown area is quite charming and has a number of reasonably priced dining places offering great food and value like Villa Corona.

    Yountville was great!

    Yountville was great! We had reservations at French Laundry so this location was ideal but I was surprised at how much I enjoyed the town itself. Everything is walkable within the town so it felt very laid back - no need to stress about traffic or parking. It was all the best parts of a trip to the Napa area without the overrun touristy masses you find in Napa itself. It felt quieter, more refined, and more relaxed. Our hotel (The Estates at Yountville) was also exceptional. I would definitely choose to go back to Yountville again.

    We've been to Napa twice before and wanted something a little less hectic. Rancho Caymus was quiet, and the staff couldn't do more! The Rufferford Grill was next door and a quick walk to an excellent meal. Pool was cool but felt good with the hot temps and after a jump in the hot tub. Fireplace with plenty of couches & chairs to relax with a newly purchased bottle of wine. Relaxing and living the good life!!!

    I grew up in Napa and it's very interesting to see the local enhancements such as new restaurants, businesses and entertainment venues. I usually spend my time in the old part of town walking and viewing the historical Victorian homes that have been restored to their previous glory.

    Spent three days in Rutherford before traveling to Santa Barbara. We visited five wineries in two days. Heitz Cellar, Corison, Grgich Hills, Robert Sinskey, Clos du Val - all fantastic. Our best meal of the trip was at Bistro Don Giovanni about 10 minutes away. One of the best dining experiences of my life! Would definitely recommend! We also ate dinner at Charter Oak Restaurant which was high quality, farm-to-table food but not quite the dining experience of Bistro DG. We had drinks afterwards at Goose & Gander - fabulous cocktails! We had a wonderful time in Napa and loved our hotel (Rancho Caymus Inn).
