I stayed in Pittsfield to visit the New Lebanon and Pittsfield Shaker villages. It was wonderful to see these historical places. Pittsfield is a bit sad as a town, a bit decayed... though they do have a theater and a concert hall.Guest review byLILIANAChile - 6.0

This was our second visit and we had a great time. The resort was not over crowded and there was plenty of parking. Definitely enjoyed being on the first floor. Tanglewood is close to Pittsfield- great location. We love staying in Pittsfield. It was a great location to see several points of interest.
It was a great location to see several points of interest. We went into Vermont and toured the Robert Frost House. We took in the Norman Rockwell Museum in Stockbridge, Mass, We made it to the Edith Wharton mansion, went to Albany New York, and enjoyed two concerts at Tanglewood. My son found a couple of book sales at local libraries, and the privately owned Braveheart Bookstore in Stephentown, NY. We rode the ski lift to the top of Jiminy Mountain, right at our resort.Guest review byJames
