- From £513.23 per nightScored out of 10, guest rating 9.1Superb - What previous guests thought, 129 reviewsIf you are in need of respite, I can't say enough good things about this place! After a several month stretch of extreme work and familial stress, this was my last stop on a trip to Acadia/down the Maine coast, and the hospitality was unparalleled. The concierge personally walked over to show me the way to the "Hideaway" property, and the combined bar/check-in desk was so creative. You have access to a kitchen with refrigerator, stocked coffee pod machine, and a wonderful lounge area. My room (really a suite, which was bigger than I expected) had a sitting room, the fluffiest pillows my head has ever met, and tasteful soothing decor. Later that night, enjoyed a delicious cocktail and dessert in front of the fireplace of the cozy lounge - I had already eaten dinner elsewhere but the chef seems to be quite skilled. The breakfast buffet was scrumptious - freshly squeezed juice and pastries, packaged yogurts available for grab-and-go, outstanding sausages and eggs, all in such a calming environment.Guest review byArielUnited States
- From £138.03 per nightScored out of 10, guest rating 8.1Very good - What previous guests thought, 674 reviewsThe view is amazingly beautiful. The facility is very quiet and peaceful as there aren't any commercial businesses for a mile or so from the property. The room was clean and comfortable with lots of towels as well as soap, shampoo, etc. It had a balcony off of it with two chairs and a small table with access via a sliding glass door and sliding screen door. Internet was good. Breakfast was included and offered bagels, toast, boiled eggs, cereal, make-your-own waffles, juice, muffins, bananas, apples. Property is located just south of Camden off of Hwy 1.Guest review byKarenUnited States

Touristy as all get out, but I knew that going in. Gorgeous town, lovely little bay. Houses and locals seemed great and I would highly recommend Camden over Portland (I believe that's some debate in this part of Maine.)Guest review byAngusUnited States - 8.0

Too early in the season for a lot to be open, but we did take advantage of what sun we had and sat by the river watching the waterfall coming from under the Smiling Cow!! Also had a very good lobster roll from Steve's Place.good food and great service!! Always love to stop here for a meal!!Guest review byPamUnited States - 10.0

Camden offers a great blend of outdoor activity and shopping, eating, culture. We had excellent weather and walked almost everywhere we went. We did not ever feel either rushed or bored. We had a great lunch at the deli in town (rooftop seating). Our favorite place for dinner was Bistro Le Cave.Guest review bygrossman - 8.0

My friends and I chose Rockport to stay because it was right between Rockland and Camden and we had plans for that area. Farnsworth Museum in Rockland, shops in Camden and hit many lighthouses on our way back to southern Maine.Guest review byC - 10.0

Small town feel, friendly people, pretty harbor area, relaxing, not super crowded when we were there in August, enjoyed sunset cruise on the Lazy Jack II, Bistro La Cave, Zoot coffee shop,, Owl and Turtle bookstore/coffee shop, Cashmere Goat yarn store, lots of art galleries. Short walking distance from our B&B.Guest review byAnonymous
