There was also a pool you could use.It felt like a home and shops were local and people in the area were nice.It was easy to get to places by taxi. Also our flight was leaving a bit later at night and we paid to stay as and extra night which was so great. My husband to be and I really enjoyed ourselves and we will visit again to stay when we return to Tobago on holiday.Guest review byVeronaUnited Kingdom
- From £96.14 per nightScored out of 10, guest rating 9.0Superb - What previous guests thought, 208 reviewsLocation is very close to the busy part of Crown point with food and bars however the property was set back, far off the road at the end of the private drive; the foliage gave it a nice feel. Very clean, spacious and comfortable for a studio. Shower available for use after checkout Keypad entry so no need to carry around keys or arrange with host to collect and give back keys. A lot of thought was placed into making the accommodation comfortable.Guest review byanthonyUnited States
- From £78.10 per nightScored out of 10, guest rating 8.0Very good - What previous guests thought, 77 reviewsIt was even more beautiful in person. The rooms were compact, clean and efficient. It had all you needed for an overnighter including a tea station and a mini fridge. The views were amazing during the day and breathtaking at sunset down by the restaurant on the compound. The food was pretty good and it was really convenient to have somewhere to get refreshments. The host was pleasant and friendly.Guest review byTerriTrinidad and Tobago

Travel epicentre.
Travel epicentre. You can take buses (very unreliable, timetables very random, online, only in one direction, not updated often, so they change without word), but very cheap; shared taxis & mini vans are good and also cheap, ask around. Also private taxis. A lot if places close, or close early on Sundays. Attractive water front. A place to go to get to other places- nothings far from Scarborough, but you don’t need to stay there except for early morning ferry departure. Accommodation over priced!Guest review byPaulaUnited Kingdom - 6.0

The place was clean and had a pool ,not to far from the airport the host was helpful but you definitely need a car. It should have hooks over the bathroom door and outside area to hang your bathing suits and towels to dry the host took us to the airport that was nice 👍🏽Guest review byShermaSaint Lucia - 10.0

As a female solo traveler, I visited Castara with a skeptical mindset to be honest, and Castara ( Trinidad and Tobago in general) just blew my mind away. Such a wonderful, amazing place and such a great nation full of super-friendly, warm, kind people. I absolutely loved the beaches, specially the Castara Bay beach where I spent about 10 days. The beach was breathtakingly beautiful. The view was picturesque. The green mountains surrounding the landscape were enchanting, and I just ended up relaxing for hours in the magnificent turquoise water. I simply did not want to come out!! Not crowded at all. Felt like I was chilling at a private beach. The ocean was very calm, peaceful, and more of a pool, so it was ideal for a person like me, who is not good at swimming. Felt an extremely safe vibe while roaming around the village. Castara ( Tobago in general) should be in a traveler's bucket list!!Guest review byRachelUnited States - 10.0

Planned this get away for my fiancé and I to enjoy the scenery of Speyside. It was a relaxing week spent with a memorable staff of Blue Waters Inn. A revisit is in the near future with my children. Thanks for a wonderful time.Guest review byRoxanneTrinidad and Tobago - 10.0

Some of our favourite spots were Store Bay and Charlotteville for swimming, the picturesque Parlatuvier jetty where we spotted stingrays, and the iconic Buccoo Reef and Nylon Pool for a unique ocean experience. We also enjoyed exploring Fort King George, the Museum, and the peaceful Botanical Gardens. For dining, we had a lovely experience at Skye Restaurant at Comfort Inn & Suites, great food and a relaxing atmosphere. Tips for a smooth trip: Rent a vehicle, preferably an SUV or 4x4, as some parts of the island are quite hilly and you’ll want to explore freely. The sun can be intense, so be sure to pack sunblock, sunglasses, caps, and rash guards for added protection.Guest review byAllenTrinidad and Tobago - 8.0
Area caters for most tastes re restaurants and bars.
Area caters for most tastes re restaurants and bars. I spent my whole evening at WONKY WINDMILL and enjoyed the food and drink there. Can be walked to from the Airport but I suggest a taxi as roads and pavements not always up to Western standards and the rain can make it very tricky to navigate. Lots of development going on but it was not noticeable during my stay at CANDLES. Andrew is a very good host - if you are new to the area, ask him for informationGuest review byDanielUnited Kingdom - 8.0

Tobago is one of the most beautiful islands in the Caribbean, a hidden gem unlike most of the popular islands. The warmth of the people and the safety of the location is a plus. It has becomemore expensive as the A listers from North America who seek privacy have bought property. Unlike, Trinidad which is more urban and certainly not a tourist destination, the local government has done a remarkable job of the infrastructure in the remote parts of the island. As a choice for family, relaxation and lots of outdoor activities such as hiking, snorkeling and bird watching, the isalnd is a top choice.Guest review byDavidUnited States - 10.0

It’s great, close to everything you could possibly want, beaches, reef tours, banks, the airport, Ice cream shops, food and drink spots (authentic creole, Italian (the pasta gallery), Chinese and a few fast food outlets etc.)Guest review byLia MH - 8.0
This is a very small town with a very local feel.
This is a very small town with a very local feel. Not too many tourists, and the restaurants and stores do not feel 'made for tourists'. They are just sort of 'there' and no one will make too big of a fuss over you as a tourist, so if you are used to pampering, this may not be the place :-) My favorite was driving (10 minutes) to Englishman's Bay, a gorgeous beach with a wild feel, very basic amenities, frequently quite strong surf, so be very cautious of undercurrents. But a truly beautiful stretch of sand with palm trees and coves and plenty of shade.Guest review byDjanaUnited States
