- Scored out of 10, guest rating 9.7Exceptional - What previous guests thought, 23 reviewsWe had a very enjoyable stay. The house is really big and has everything required for a comfortable stay. All the place was very clean and tidy. The host is super responsive and helpful. We stay in three different places in Tongatapu during our holidays and this was our favorite. The surroundings are beautiful and it is very close to the beach. The area is quite peaceful. You should not miss Mommas' Harbourview Restaurant. It is only 8 minutes walk from the guesthouse and offer really delicious and hearty dishes.Guest review byJuan Manuel BenítezColombia
- Scored out of 10, guest rating 8.5Very good - What previous guests thought, 100 reviewsI can’t recommend Dayspring enough! I stayed for 2 weeks as a solo traveller and Selina was so welcoming I felt at home right away. Everything was clean and the breakfast was delicious. There is a shop next door if you need anything. Also George is very helpful and Masiu is a gem, helped to check me in and it was fun to spend time with him. I will definitely stay here again if I come back to Tonga, a memorable Christmas for me for sure!Guest review byRhianna CatrinUnited Kingdom
- From US$143.56 per nightScored out of 10, guest rating 6.7Pleasant - What previous guests thought, 321 reviewsPerfect location for the town centre plus facing the beach. The staff are fantastic and it’s all very clean. The Chinese restaurant in the hotel is excellent and even more useful on a Sunday when the whole island is shut. It gets mad busy then. Rooms cleaned daily and fresh towels every day if you want them. A great stay we loved itGuest review byGaryUnited Kingdom

A great stop over for connecting flights to the outer islands of Tonga. Loved the blow hole coast, good idea to hire a car to get around. The central market is worth checking out for fresh fruit, veg and craft. The Seaview Lodge Restaurant was our favourite place to eat. Wanted to try the Korean restaurant too but it wasn't open on the dates we visited.Guest review byNicola FNew Zealand - 8.0

It's a small place, but there is variety of experience here - the vibrant market, the port area with street vendors, restaurants and 'fishing pigs', the very popular Friends restaurant, open all day and evening and serving good food, reasonably priced ...the more you look, the more you find!Guest review byJacquelineUnited Kingdom - 4.0
Nuku’ alofa isn’t set up for tourism.
Nuku’ alofa isn’t set up for tourism. They don’t really understand what customer service means or they just don’t care. While the other islands are beautiful the mainland has very little to offer in terms of interesting experiences.Guest review byMelindaNew Zealand
