- From £53.30 per nightScored out of 10, guest rating 8.3Very good - What previous guests thought, 527 reviewsThis place was exactly what I was looking for. Together with the swimming pool area, the resort combines a quiet area with well-equipped bungalows submerged in a jungle-like garden. I really enjoyed staying there, since it felt like being just lost in a hut in the middle of the forest, while having the comforts of a hotel. That nap in the hammock while the raindrops were hitting the roof was just next level. The swimming pool area had more lively and festive/beach club-like vibes, and I loved it. Many young couples, groups of friends, families and also solo travelers seemed be having a great time, and even had the chance of getting to know other travelers if you felt like it. The sea views were also great, and the beach is well taken care of. Even lightened up during night time. Walking down the wooden dock was also super nice during sunset, or even for some star gazing later if the night, if the weather allows it. Food and drink standards were perfectly fine, and personnel was attentive and nice, but not intrusive. The value for money was probably one of the best ones I had in recent years in any accommodation.Guest review byBorjaSpain
- From £96.58 per nightScored out of 10, guest rating 9.0Superb - What previous guests thought, 510 reviewsThey literally take care of everything you can think of. Thanks to the wonderful reception team we had the most stress free stay. They arranged our transportation to our next stay in Koh Mak (which turned out a though job given the rainy/low season). We could rent a motorbike easily, kayak is for free. They booked us a great snorkling trip. This team shows a lot of flexibility and organisational talent! Above all we felt instantly welcome in this beautiful resort. The restaurant service is fast, friendly (always smiling) and serves delicious food. They have a lovely farm to table concept and if you're lucky you'll even spot little pigs running around the beach.Guest review byDanielPortugal
- Scored out of 10, guest rating 8.7Fabulous - What previous guests thought, 101 reviewsThe whole day from start to finish was just wonderful. The staff could not have been more welcoming and helpful. The pool Villa was extremely comfortable and for us, it was preferable to a beach villa. It was easy to hire mopeds through the hotel. The beach and the sea were perfection. The fact that the resort is so small made the whole experience feel exclusive, and as if our comfort was a priority for the whole staff team. Breakfast was absolutely brilliant with lots of choice and great coffee! It was also easy to arrange onward travel through the hotel. We would absolutely definitely return, the whole stay was wonderful.Guest review byKarenUnited Kingdom
- From £276.86 per nightScored out of 10, guest rating 9.0Superb - What previous guests thought, 71 reviewsWe stayed at this hotel for 5 nights and had a wonderful experience. Before our stay, I emailed the hotel to ensure they had vegan food. Upon arrival, we were pleased to know that they had purchased vegan products and veganised a few items on their menu for us. They have amazing pad Thai, curries, and fried rice. The hotel itself is lovely and has a beautiful beach and pool. The staff are very friendly.Guest review byDavidSingapore

Koh Kood is a genuine hidden gem.
Koh Kood is a genuine hidden gem. The tropical beaches have crystal clear water and there are some great snorkeling spots if you look hard enough. Make sure you get down to The Fisherman Hut and mention Whimsical Tricycle to the owner, Tom. He will know what you mean. Enjoy! But keep it secret. Keep it safe.Guest review bykieranbutler70Australia - 10.0
We already went twice.
We already went twice. It is my favourite island in Thailand. Easy to reach from Bangkok and very good value! Most beautiful nature and quiet. An adventure to bike around the island. Excellent seafood!Guest review byMarleneAustria - 10.0
Koh Kood was absolutely stunning.
Koh Kood was absolutely stunning. The beaches are beautiful, very peaceful, and not crowded like other islands. It’s a true gem in the otherwise quite touristy Thailand. The island has retained its charm and natural beauty. The only downside was the presence of many sandflies on the beaches. Their bites can be bothersome, but fortunately, they do not transmit any diseases.Guest review bySabineGermany
