As soon as we arrived at Mem Homestay we felt immediately home. The big smile of Mem was contagious. She offered suggestions and she lent us her scooter for free. Even on the day of our check out (we had an evining flight). Her husband, our new british friend Jeff, was so friendly and it was really nice talking with him. He even took us to the airport. 🤩 Chumphon is a really relaxing place. No many tourists, lovely local people with some incredible miles and miles of gorgeous and empty beaches! Jeff and Mem you really do a great job and we truly wish you all the best! Come to visit us in Italy, in Naples, you'll be more than welcome 🥰

The room is very clean so clean. The location is perfect and valued for the money. We stop one night to waiting our flight back to Bangkok. A lot of street food around. Not many foreigners or bar for the night life to drink. But we try to drink the bar call De rush on the rock. Many Thai people out about . Live music ( Thai music) The beer is 90THB for the big one. Highly recommend for people who want to stop before go to Kho Tao or flight back to Bangkok

The hotel is cute and clean. There is wifi. The staff is friendly and helpful. At the back of the hotel, there is a magnificent river and seating areas where you can enjoy the river. We took our coffee in the morning and enjoyed it. As the weather started to warm up, some small flies came in. We did not think that this hotel, which we stopped by to stay on the pass road, would please us so much.

This resort is a gem . A bit off the beaten path it is clean quiet and the ocean is right in front of the resort, with a long beach. The best part about Tawan is the OWNER & STAFF. Mink is amazing and will help you with just about anything, from bug bite remedies to hiring a car . She gave me a family contact for my next destination who was just as wonderful and very helpful. I highly recommend this resort.

The room was clean, comfortable, and well-maintained, providing a relaxing atmosphere. The hotel’s location is convenient, making it easy to explore the surrounding area. The breakfast selection was also great, with a variety of options to start the day right. Overall, I highly recommend Nana Buri for anyone visiting Chumphon.     Quiet place far away from the tourist crowds. Great beaches, nearly empty, amazing vegetation with lots of interesting places to see nearby. A good base to go exploring more south (we had a rental car) and close to the Myanmar border with all those hills. Would highly recommend the area for people who wnat to see a more genuine Thailand than the Phukets of the world.

    We stayed for 5 nights.

    We stayed for 5 nights. The beach is lovely with soft white sand. There were plenty of local restaurants close to the beach and also western food. There were only a few small shops. Transport into Chumphon costs 300 Thai baht by taxi. There is a really good weekend night market in Chumphon with a huge variety of freshly cooked food.

    There are many unique places to visit, many beautiful islands, and scenic spots. I eed to rents a car and drives yourself to visit more tan 10 attractions wic are far apart. Traveling to see the various islands, snorkeling, swimming, and seeing the beauty of the various islands requires Local noat Tour to take you there.

    Our stay in Chumphon was exactly as we anticipated, our reason for visiting was to stay at fisherman’s home stay, which was superb, we stayed an extra night in the town to catch an early morning train to Trang, this allowed us to witness the people of Chumphon setting up the food markets at 03.00 in the morning, brilliant.
