It was a wasted time my journey to Slănic Moldova and also the time spent there. Slanic Moldova has nothing to offer but poorly maintained buildings, bad roads, everywhere you look you see a For Sale sign - the town looks deserted and the old, beautiful buildings, with an attractive arhitecture are either for sale or closed and left to rot. There is only one grocery store. In the winter time you can ski at Nemira ski slope but make sure that it has snow (you can check it live on internet). In spite the fact that I payed in advance, I was forced to find, at very short notice, accommodation for 4 adults. pros. Clean and comfortable room. Good food into the restaurant. cons. Because my room was on the first floor it was to noisy because of the restaurant placed into parter under my room. Great location for wandering around.
Great location for wandering around. The resort is mixed - there are refurbished hotels along with decrepit architectural jewels. There are good restaurants in the area.
