Perfect location for us, not in the busy part of panglao (alona) stayed here a couple of nights and even returned here after a trip to siquijor. Staff is great, makes you feel at home, compliments to the owner and maybe until next time.

    Nestled down a quiet, unassuming road about a 10 minute walk or 3 minute ride to busy Alona beach, with a free shuttle during the day. The rooms are spacious, clean, and comfortable with A/C and a fan that work great. Shampoo, body wash, and bath towels provided. There is no safe but there is a cupboard that you can lock your valuables in with a luggage lock. The pool is marvellous and the grounds are beautiful. There is a massage cabana by the pool and the hotel staff arranged for massage therapists to come on site for 400 pesos for 60 minutes. The hotel also has a great selection of scooters for rent right on site - we took two of the big bikes (600 pesos each for 24 hours) for our DIY countryside tour and they were in excellent condition. We never ate at the restaurant here but can confirm that there is beer, pop, water, and smoothies for sale at very reasonable prices. Above all, the service was exceptional. The friendly staff arranged for our laundry to be done, scheduled taxis when the shuttle wasn't available, and even helped us make alternative travel arrangements when our ferry was cancelled. Thank you so much for a wonderful stay!

    The whole team at BE Grand made our stay so enjoyable. From pick-up at the airport, check-in in our villa, accommodating personalised requests, nightly sweet treats for us to enjoy in our villa and smiles from everyone around the resort. We could not fault Neil (our butler) along with Darel (another butler), Kevin (F&B) were superb. Our thanks also goes to Ms Kathy (Front of House Manager).     Very nice and quiet place, perfect hotel to escape all the noise and relax. Breakfast was nice, hotel restaurant serves delicious food. WiFi works well; gym has a beautiful view and has enough equipment to get a workout in; spa was great and very good pricing; game room is also located in a nice place - beautiful views while playing some games. All the area is looked after and very green. Cave was a nice experience. Tennis court is well looked after. We loved our stay and wish we stayed a bit longer.

    Lovely get-away in the countryside, few steps to the beach (good during high tide), short walk to the nearby cave, and a 20 minute tuktuk ride at fixed rate to Alona or Panglao or anywhere else on the island. The place is beautifully made, has a warm and nice atmosphere, and a cozy feel to it. Staff is simply excellent, the restaurant works all day and makes great food, there's a fridge you can share, WiFi works well - it's all just very cozy and relaxing.

    Amazing place, it's our 2nd time in Ananda and we had a great time again. The location of the hotel is ideal, a bit out of the busy town but close to the beach and easily accessible. We love the zen atmosphere and the kindness of the staff. The food is amazing and offers a nice relaxing evening option after a day out exploring. We will be back and recommend this place.

We feel at home away from real home.Feeling of confident walking in the roads and markets.Specially the beaches..My family love the Alona ambiance.And been to Moadto Strip which has a nice free beach.And for our transportation we always book for Romelle and Edzel recommended by Nilo the property manager.

    Bohol is an incredibly beautiful destination, and I would love to come back and explore more of what it has to offer. It's not just the stunning beaches — the hills, mountains, and natural scenery are equally breathtaking. Unfortunately, our stay was quite short, and the inclement weather limited our plans even more. We didn’t get to fully experience everything, but what we saw left a lasting impression. We’re definitely planning to return — there's so much more to discover in this amazing place.

    Really recommend Bohol Farm!

    Really recommend Bohol Farm! Their ice cream is incredible, and the food is great too. We got a tour of the farm, which was super nice. Getting around is quite easy, there are three main road that go around the island, and there are tuktuks for hire everywhere. I rented a moped, which actually felt quite safe, as there were few big cars. Alona beach is definitely worth a visit. I'd recommend doing a countryside tour too, to see a lot of the sights of Bohol in one day.

    It's less crowded place compared to other popular islands in the Philippines, that makes it more relaxing. Snorkling at napaling Reef was amazing. It's a must do. The mountainside tour is also recommended. ATV ride in the mud was the most enjoyable. We had a tour from panglao to oslob. It's almost 9 hours tour but mostly traveling. It's tiring and I would say it's not worth the 30mins swim with the whale shark. Panglao is very popular for diving. A lot of people come here to learn/ to do scuba dive. The reefs and the variety of sea life were amazing, we even saw sea turtles and sea snake. 😍

    You can get enough of the non-oceanic tourist attractions in 2 days. The snorkeling is why I love it. You need to go to a Marine Sanctuary for the good snorkeling, although a few resorts have decent house reefs. DON'T go on one of the snorkeling/island hopping tours which are promoted at many places, especially by hawkers at Alona Beach. None of the boat motors have mufflers. They will leave you at a substandard restaurant on Balicasag Island for an outrageous length of time. Tag along on a dive boat, which you can arrange at most dive shops.
