The beautifully restored historical house with museum located next to the old castle near a wonderful beach in Taqah was our favourite hotel and area during our 2 week travels throughout Oman. The staff were highly competent and great hosts. Service and breakfast were excellent. 10 from 10 points.

I have a bad experience during check-in as follows. The hotel provided me with a standard room, then after I asked the reception staff, my booking is a deluxe room, not Stansted, The staff try to convince with bad attitude me to take the stander, cose my reservation different deluxe. I opened my booking, which is clear the type of room, and photo of the room at booking App, Then, in difficulty, she agreed to change the room as per my booking.

Really friendly staff and good service. Every day we received a little surprise like fruit basket, free drink or an ice cream. Perfect base for exploring the region. The restaurant even prepared us our catch after we came back from a fishing trip (so tasty!). Nice pool area.

    Beautiful hotel, they gave us an upgrade since the window in the room didn't open. They gave us a room much bigger with a balcony without any additional cost. We have appreciated this. The pool and the gym were amazing. The staff very kind and helpful. The girl at the reception gave us some contact for excursion to Fazayah Beach. We called Ahmed and he was amazing.     I stayed in this hotel and lost some clothes, especially in the town of Sut Jadid. We asked the management of the hotel, who is Egyptian, and they treated us very poorly. This hotel does not have management. We advise the owner of the hotel, and should Dhofar leave their country like these expatriate workers who are tarnishing the reputation of the hotel

    Amazing lagoon landscape, with direct beach access. Beach is amazingly white, clean and you can walk in quite far - depending on the waves, only. Exceptionally beautiful "holiday town" Hawana Salalah with many different lagoons, private villas, 3 large 5-star resorts, some shops, restaurants. Approx. 15km from Salalah town / airport. So, you should rent a car straight from the airport. Great excursions going up into the mountains ... sand dunes, waterfalls (depending on the season), Hiob's graveyard, Taqah castle + fortress etc. ... nice big shopping malls in Salalah
