Andrew was absolutely lovely on arrival and throughout our stay. Wished we could have stayed longer longer. The apartments are very clean and tidy and spacious with everything you need. After being on the road for the last 5 weeks and eating out, it was nice to be able to sit down and have a home cooked meal with a full kitchenette. Next time we will definitely be back for longerGuest review byNicky HeureaAustralia

truly vibrant beautiful culturally rich city.
truly vibrant beautiful culturally rich city. Stay in the central area, excellent public transport. Walk to all the sights. The I office great support, Te Papa, National Library, parliament buildings, the wonderful fashion, bookshops (old and new) waterfront magic!! lots of choices in the restaurants, smells from the food make you hungry. Pubs very grand, like the theatres. Has to be one of the most beautiful, cleanest, safest cities in the world. Everything in close proximity! Check out shops and street music in Cuba St!Guest review byJanetNew Zealand - 2.0
We left straight away and did not stay.
We left straight away and did not stay. The driveway was completely dangerous, we got stuck half way up and had to walk back down to the bottom to find help. There was no way we could have been able to come and go as needed. The house was also freezing. We contacted to say it was dangerous and unsuitable and would be leaving straight away and got a notification the message had been read but received no reply.Guest review byAnonymous - 10.0

Everything within walking distance.
Everything within walking distance. However there's NO pedestrian crossings from the motel side of the road! I'm a bit slow with bad hips and I was taking my life into my hands to get across to the mall lol. Great little cafe called "Local Authority" under the council building next to the gym! Fantastic coffee and lovely staff!Guest review byChrisNew Zealand - 8.0
Upper Hutt is a growth area.
Upper Hutt is a growth area. Being right next to the ranges it is cold in Winter but I would argue the Summers are warmer than Wellington because the Wairarapa which is warm is on the other side of the rangersGuest review byRogerNew Zealand - 8.0

All in all it was a very good experience staying and I would stay there again. The unit was nice and clean and the staff were very welcoming. The local Indian restaurant is the best Indian food I have ever had and the service was exceptional not to mention that the prices are very reasonable. We tried to get into the Thai but it was fully booked. We went to another restaurant down by the beach which was upstairs but it was so noisy that it was to hard to hear. We were down for a funeral and had a car so very easy to get around the area.Guest review byGinaNew Zealand - 8.0

Greytown is a nice little town in the Wairarapa, a bit fency, with lots of cafe and diverse shops. I particularly recommend the French Bakery, which sells amazing French-like croissant and good brioches. I also recommend the walk in the memorial park, which is a remnant of native bush, which survived from the farmland associated deforestation more than common in the Wairarapa. Finally I recommend the bar at the White Swan, very cool place for drinks ! Out of Greytown, head to the Mount Holdsworth carpark and "climb" to the lookout, definitely worth it !Guest review byJeanNew Zealand - 6.0

There is no Uber, only their local Taxi, which makes getting around without a car quite difficult They do have a lot of Beaches and Reserves close by, and when I stayed at the White House up the hill, I had an epic view with the best Sunset.Guest review byClliffdog01New Zealand - 8.0

Great place. The beach and surrounds have much to offer. For a low key activity go to Nga Manu. Relaxing and informative! Watch the eels being fed and attempt to see a nesting kiwi. We did, but not much action to see. If you like nature, just go.Guest review byIvan & SharynAustralia
