Oslo itself is lovely.
Oslo itself is lovely. It's very clean, with excellent facilities but be aware that it is very expensive. I've been there before, so I only went there again because I was going to stay with a friend. Unfortunately she got COVID, so I had to book a hotel at the last minute. A city that is not too big (it's walkable to most attractions, if you like walking), but has a lot packed into it. If you like culture then the Munch and National museums are both excellent and you may find yourself spending longer in them than anticipated. Being Scandinavia, it's generally clean with little litter. Yes, it's more expensive than back home in the UK, but not eye-wateringly so. For alcohol I would recommend buying cans from a supermarket (a little over £2 a can) rather than the £8 plus for under a pint in the bars.Guest review byNicholasUnited Kingdom
