NetherlandsThe place is an absolute gem in Vilanculos. It was created just a few months ago, it is all new, clean and to be honest are the best lodges in the city. I travelled to many counties in Africa and it is the best by far.
They also have the best Portuguese food there in the restaurant. People sometimes just come from different lodges just to eat here. The accommodation is better than it looks in the pictures.
If you stay here, the stuff will make sure you will have the best experience at all the most beautiful islands. They help with travel tickets, organization and everything. You can really relax and enjoy your holidays here. It is one of the magical places I want to come back taking my friends with. Enjoy it!

Everything we ordered from the restaurant was absolutely delicious and plated well. The activities on offer are just brilliant - we did two horse rides with Mozambique Horse Safaris which is only a couple of minutes walk away. We absolutely loved every second of our stay and would recommend it to anyone. Everyone we interacted with was friendly, helpful, and went above and beyond to ensure we had a memorable experience. From the warm welcome to the attentive service throughout our stay, they made us feel at home. I highly recommend Casa Cabana for anyone visiting Vilanculos. Typical of Mozambique. It's a poor area so if you are prepared for rural surrounds you will not be disappointed. Locals are friendly and the lodge took us shopping for provisions as and when we needed it. Great place to relax. Super diving, snokelling, fishing and swimming. Definitely recommend. It's a beautiful place. Vilanculos is very laid back, natural and authentic. The beaches are amazing, delicious local food and some great outdoor activities to do. Visiting the islands like Bazaruto is highly recommended. These areas are truly pristine and the snorkeling along two mile reef is awesome. I would say more or less 6 days is enough time in the area.
