- From £492.09 per nightScored out of 10, guest rating 9.1Superb - What previous guests thought, 2,229 reviewsOur Maldives experience was wonderful! We had a grand water villa with a beautiful terrace, with corals and fishes at 10m going down to the sea from the terrace. The views were magnificent. The hotel spreads on 3 islands (we were on the second one, Dream - very good) with different pools, bars and activity areas, some reserved only to adults which was definitely a plus for when we wanted some peaceful and romantic time. There are plenty of restaurants that you can try (our favorite was the thai place). You need to book in advance but as we were half board and exploring restaurants for lunch and not for diner, we always found a spot while booking the day before through the app. The massage we got was amazing. Food and service at the buffet are of great quality. Water is free and available in all bars and restaurants, which we appreciated a lot (no water bottles floating around). The last island is is only for adults and is like another branch: you need a different app and you can't participate to the sport activities organized there. However, the sport activities organized by Kristina on the main island and dream were great to stay in shape during the holidays. There is an electric bus doing the back and forth between islands (take it from the start or it can be full). The snorkeling experience around the hotel and in the excursions (3 points snorkeling for us) was amazing: colorful fishes, sharks, turtles, rays, etc. The room is very large, comfortable and clean with a formidable room boy called Noor who was always smiling, attentive and preparing some decorations in the room. He was discreet and coming twice a day to the room when convenient for us. To note that when arriving at the airport, you are waiting for the boat in the food court where there are not always space to seat as all hotels use the same approach: after a long trip, this is not the favorite part but we only waited 30 to 45 min to get a boat.Guest review byMarjorieFrance
- From £530.16 per nightScored out of 10, guest rating 9.1Superb - What previous guests thought, 2,320 reviewsVilla Nautica is an amazing resort in the Maldives! Great snorkelling, amazing cocktails, and top-class cuisine. We stayed in a deluxe beach villa with its own pool and well-appointed furnishings and finishings, and it is located on the quieter side of the island. The villa and its outside pool is private and walks straight onto the beach. The villas are all spacious, newly refurbished, and in pristine condition. The room, bedding, bathroom, and towels were all clean and tidy. The villa was serviced twice daily as well. We were provided with a complimentary dinner at the Hook restaurant. I would like to commend the chef on making some exquisite scallops for me and my wife to enjoy! All considered, we had an exceptional time and will definitely consider staying at the resort again should we find ourselves in the Maldives! Lastly, I would like to commend the resort staff for their friendlyness, professionalism, and dedication in providing top customer service, from the restaurants to the bar and at the poolside. Here, I would like to commend Anthony for providing the best service that I have seen in many years of travelling.Guest review byWillemQatar
- From £766.21 per nightScored out of 10, guest rating 9.1Superb - What previous guests thought, 188 reviewsPristine beaches and crystal clear water. Beautiful sunsets. Friendly and helpful staff. Direct communication with the assigned agent via WhatsApp. Very convenient. Amazing food. Six different restaurants to choose from. Fushi restaurant offers a buffet with different selection every day. I highly recommend to book half board. You will save a lot. Plenty of available water activities. Scuba diving, fishing, snorkeling, dolphin tours, etc. Nice kids club with lots of activities. Outside playground and water castle. Cooking classes. Rockclimbing wall. Karaoke. Game room. You have bicycles assigned to your room. We were riding the bicycles every day around the island. You just can't can't get enough of the nature. The whole island just feels so quiet. Most of the time we hardly saw any people during the day. It almost felt like we rented the whole island.Guest review byDenys ThomsonUnited States
- From £2,046.41 per nightScored out of 10, guest rating 9.7Exceptional - What previous guests thought, 117 reviewsThank you for fast and smooth boat transfer, did’t have to wait at Male airport. Also thank you for early check-in so we could enjoy the holiday as soon as possible (this is the thing that is not usually available in hotels). We got villa 181 with beautiful sand beach and view with sea and palms. Not windy, calm & clear water. The island has about 15 beaches, explored them all by bicycle or walk. The beaches were really beautiful. Delicious food at breakfast and Rhabarbaro restaurant for dinner. Especially like breakfast buffet with choice of a la carte menu.Guest review bySilviaSlovakia

Every aspect, from the facilities and our room to the warmth of the staff and their exceptional service, exceeded our desires. The transportation and airport arrangements were impeccably smooth, with the team consistently catering to our needs. The tranquil natural surroundings added to the serenity of the resort, making our stay truly unforgettable. The staff was extraordinary and always disponible. Beaches, bars, restaurants, diving center, events, all the contents on the island were impecable. All activities which island offers are breathtaking and worth to experience (diving in the lagoon, diving at the fish tank, diving with mantas, snorkeling with turtles and sharks, seeing dolphins, fishing, visiting sandbank, dinner under the stars on the beach...). We really enjoyed in every single moment...Guest review byLukaCroatia

Everything we asked was answered, we received all support we needed. At breakfast he randomly asked us if there is anything that they can do to make the stay better, we had a problem with the AC that it didn't cool quite quickly and it leaked, we went to the beach when we came back it was perfect. One of the most beautiful places in the world. Wherever you look, you'll find postcard worthy landscape. The ocean was very clean, ideal for snorkling and apparently it was a good spot for surfing as well. All in all, a must see.Guest review byÁkosHungary - 10.0

Maafushi is, overall, a great place – the people are friendly and welcoming. The weak point is definitely the services. When it comes to hotels, don’t expect luxury. In my opinion, for what you actually get, it’s overpriced. One big plus is that Maafushi gives you more freedom. You’re not tied to a resort – you can move around, explore, go jogging if you want, and enjoy the island on your own terms. You can book trips easily, there’s stuff to do, and it doesn’t feel restrictive.Guest review byAnonymous - 8.0

Hulhumale despite being busy like the rest of Male has an airy feel to it with lots of greenery - almost colonial. The East side is quiet for traffic although it's close to the seaplane flight paths - I didn't find that intrusive. The West side has the harbour with the ferry terminal and where the liveaboards anchor between trips. When I was there there had been a lot of recent building work so I would avoid staying there. Lots of options for buying fresh fruit and vegentables if you need and a range of places to eat at different price ranges.Guest review byNigelUnited Kingdom - 10.0

I loved the proximity to Male for ease of arrival and departure. I also loved looking at the city lights from afar, whilst being separated by stunningly turquoise waters and the gentle sounds of lapping waves. The marine life in the lagoon was plentiful and beautiful, and I had many marine visitors near my villa at all hours of the day. The snorkelling with sharks-excursion was probably the single best experience, but the resort itself was the star of the whole experience. The quality of the villa (amazing bed, wonderful toiletries from L'Occitane, the view, the constant refill of free fresh water and Nespresso coffee) and the rest of the resort (amazing food, world-class spa) was the stuff of holiday dreams!Guest review byInaNorway - 10.0
We LOVED Dhiffushi!
We LOVED Dhiffushi! A real taste of a local island, the thing that struck us was how quiet and peaceful it was. We wandered everywhere on foot and loved that the roads are all sand. We were there in monsoon season and experienced some storms but they were short and everyone just gets on with stuff. There was some rubbish washed up on the non-hotel beach areas but most hotels keep their areas spotless. Both bikini beaches were absolutely stunning. Would definitely recommend Dhiffushi as a real gem of a local island. As an added bonus, we could not believe how cheap everything was too!Guest review byClannyUnited Kingdom - 10.0
I absolutely loved my time in Thulusdhoo - my first time in...
I absolutely loved my time in Thulusdhoo - my first time in the Maldives! I feel I picked a fabulous island to spend 4 days of relaxation and calmness following a busy elective healthcare placement. The island was so beautiful and peaceful. The beaches were so clean, white sands, the water was crystal clear, all sun-loungers free to use and very friendly locals and business owner stalls, businesses, and restaurants. A couple I met whilst away also got engaged on sunset beach with the most beautiful backdrop (a real must to visit during the evenings)! Plenty of places to choose from to eat - from beach bars to evening dining. I went to Juice Bench every day for lunch, the staff were so kind and smiley and the food was delicious and fresh. I also ate dinner at Indulge (10/10 pizza!), Cafe Bandaha for dinner, amazing tikka masala curry and the freshest apple juice! (Breakfast was included in my hotel - Eden Blue - which I also highly recommend!). I took two excursions with Baani Watersports - first the reef shark and stingray trip, which was absolutely amazing! The second trip was the sandbank and turtles trip, again - amazing! The team were very friendly, fun, and ensured we were looked after throughout. They took fabulous photo's of us all on their gopro which they sent to us afterwards free of charge. I also found their pricing very competitive! Getting around the island is easy peasy. I walked every day, it is quite small so can be easily lapped in around 45 minutes of strolling. People were also using mopeds and bicycles. I also received a complementary shuttle service from the ferry port to my accommodation and back which was a very welcomed bonus. Overall, the island is wonderful, the people are so lovely, and I'm SO glad I picked this island to spend my 4 days! I hope to be back one day soon - perhaps with someone next time so I have a companion in the evenings when it's a little quieter!Guest review byLaurenL97United Kingdom - 8.0
It is a really peaceful island with a really nice beach.
It is a really peaceful island with a really nice beach. Beach has almost that resort level quality to it. Island is small, so besides water activities or some excursions, there is not much to do, so for some travelers it might get boring.Guest review byVladimirSerbia - 10.0

Guraidhoo - ferry every day and easy to reach from Male, not so busy yet, not yet ugly concrete big buildings, bikini beach is one of the most beautiful I have ever seen. White soft sand with turquoise warm water and sandy shore for fantastic swimming and walking on the sandbar - great for kids too, sunbeds and good cafe on the beach, there are corals and ship wreck for snorkeling and not to forget the shark feeding place - simply amazing to watch sharks and rays - great entertainment for the evening. There are great restaurants with fantastic prices. This island is amazing choice !Guest review byDarinaSlovakia - 6.0
