Well finished and clean rooms with spacious balcony. Extremely friendly staff. They treat you like part of the family all the way, from arrival at the airport to departure. They even prepared us a take away breakfast as we were leaving very early. The daily trips they arranged for us were also amazing. The guides are the best, always there for us, even helping the ones with lower swimming experience patiently. I hope I can be back soon. Finally, the restaurant at the hotel itself made our trip quite easy.

100℅ best place at island to stay with family. Enough space in the room and really modern design. Amazing view from the room and you can observe ocean and sunrise from your balcony every day. I would like also to highlight friendly and flexible attitude from Assad and the team, they helped us with all the needs and supported with Excursions/recommendations. A very nice guesthouse close to the center of Thoddoo and also few minutes walking from beautiful Sunset Beach. The room has everything you need, very spacious as the bathroom with a big space for the shower. Nice towels, changed often or on request.The fridge in the room is a good extra to keep water/fruit in it. A/C and fan working well, and no mosquitos at all. The patio outside the room is a very nice place to relax. Ishan helped a lot for every single need or information. Breakfast is amazing, rich and different every day; a special thank to Htun for her kindness always, she is the best breakfast chef in Thoddoo (best pancakes ever!) and she made the difference in our stay.

    Centare resort was our beautiful hideaway for 15 nights. Right after we stepped out of the seaplane our honeymoons have started. The whole team made sure that our dreams came really true. Our first contact was with guest service manager Sveltana. She welcomed us with open heart, welcome drink und very professional at same time. She was always reachable per Whatsapp, if there were some questions or we needed some help. We felt very good served during our whole stay. Our room attendant Samsul did his job on such excellent level. He came many times per day for cleaning up, a little small talk and filling up the water bottles. He got sure that we have all we need. Every time when we came back after his cleaning, the villa looked like brand new! Additionally he has surprised us with many sand drawings (outside the villa) or inside with the towels (elephants, angels). He did his job with passion and perfectionism to the last detail! The staff from the “Reef bar” did amazing job too. We really enjoyed the excellent services from Habib and Jasim. They knew us very well and have never forgot, what are our favourite drinks. Plus they filled up our ice cube box automatically. When they had time, we did some small talks and they come automatically to the table and asked if we need something. The food itself was just AMAZING!!! The buffets offered a huge choice of food, vegetable, salads, fresh fruits and deserts. The quality of dishes were comparable with very good europeans restaurants. We were many times wondering how its possible to prepare it with such quality on a small island in the middle of Indian ocean! Our side-dish highlight were the fresh made butter garlic naan from Masut! If you like Indian kitchen you gonna love it! What we either appreciated were two “a la carte” restaurants on the island (italian and thai). Both had very professional staff and delicious dishes.

    All the staff were very nice. But the nicest and with a high class service was Hussein who worked as a waitress. He was quick, curious and always knew what was needed. So nice and humble. Another person who made us feel at home was Rasal who drove the golf cart. He could see us from far away and was on the spot quickly. nice, always asked how we were and if we are fine and if something is missing. Even the man who cleaned our room, unfortunately can't remember his name, always clean and fresh in The room. Then I would also like to add that the two managers of the resort are very professional and want the best for the visitors. Their employees also spoke highly of them, which makes the whole experience that much extra. Thanks to the staff, we would love to come back. Thank you Diamonds Thudufushi for an unforgettable week.

    "Welcome to our small corner of paradise..." That's a beginning of welcome email from Sandies and it's absolut truth. The whole experiance with hresort is just highest level of phisical and soul comfort. Amazing stuff, wonderfull sand, awesome food (i've nede eat so much fish) and undescrible beauty of Maldives and island local reef. We were helped on all stages of trip preparation, on arrival, on island and on depurture! You'll be happy. I promise. P.S. Please read my notes about resort which are no even close to "disadvanteges" or "do not come here". It's just something you better to know while planning your trip.

    This was my second stay at LUX and once again it was a truly special experience. We stayed in August, with wonderful weather, in a beautiful water villa overlooking the crystal-clear sea. The resort is enchanting: the island is large and well equipped, offering many facilities such as a gym, diving center, six restaurants and several bars. The international breakfast was excellent and served in two different restaurants. During our stay we dined almost every evening at Umami, the Japanese restaurant: outstanding food thanks to Chef Jester and impeccable service by Reehaan. I highly recommend trying it.

There are several shops with groceries, souvenirs and restaurants on the island. There is a lot of accommodation in different places on the island with quality services. The local people are smiling and friendly. There is a hospital, a police station, the Maldivian office and mosques on the island. Waste from the island is taken to the forest, where it is burned in the afternoon, we only felt the smoke from the waste when there was a strong wind. You can get to the island from the airport by speedboat, the journey takes about two hours, if you suffer from nausea, I recommend taking anti-nausea medicine, you will definitely need it when the waves are bigger. There is a coral reef around the island, you can see many colorful fish, we were lucky to see a turtle and a small shark. There are resorts on the surrounding atolls, to which seaplanes fly daily. What we didn't like on the island is the massive construction of new accommodation facilities, I'm afraid that in a short time, there will be more tourists on the island than locals and the island will lose its authenticity and beauty.

    An amazing snorkelling beach -no boats or travel required -just thousands of colourful fish and turtles, perfect white sand and palm trees. The concession stand sold delicious, fresh-picked fruit-watermelon, papaya, bananas. We loved the Coccoa beach restaurant and the Black Anchor and the Mango House had fabulous lattes and desserts.

    Great Island, plenty to do and good snorkelling straight off Villa. Food, people and facilitiies were great - cannot fault. Deluxe water villas were a bit tired and really need a refurbishment - other than that great time in Kuramathi...

    I didn't like that the island lost most of it's green and I didn't see the wild nature I prefer. There was a lot of construction going on the moment I was there, I felt discomfort because of that. And maybe in 1-2 years it's going to be over I think. But on the other hand there's just amazing diving on the house reef and nearby reefs. There's a lot of nice restaurants and there was no day I felt bored.

    We enjoyed 7 days on the island. The rooms are very clean. The food is AMAZING! Everyone from staff are kind. The resort is sustainable, they try very hard to recycle and repurpose almost everything which is really nice. All inclusive is the smarter choice, trust me😄 The snorkeling is really fun! The whole island stands on coral reef and there is a lot to see! Maybe bring your own equipment, although you can rent. I don’t recommend the visit to the local island, nothing to see there We absolutely recommend

    Great for diving but not so great for snorkeling. The reef is very far out and at times the current was very strong. Prices for trips to see the whale sharks were quite expensive at 75 USD. And there were tons of other boats at the same spots - very zoo-like. Bikini beach, the only beach you can swim at in only your bathing suit is fairly shallow and windy. The better beach beside it requires you to be clothed. However, the local people are super nice and helpful.

    It was not my first time in Maldives and my experience there was disappointing compared to my previous trips in other resorts. The quality of service is poor and it’s a shame because the resort is lovely and the staff are nice but lack professionalism.

    You need maximum 3 days to complete all trips, any more than that would have to be someone who loves water sports as these are the main activities in this country, anyways. Bring a mosquito or any insect repellent, you will need these after a stroll on the shores or anywhere there are plants. Also have an anti-nausea pill if you are the seasick type. Taxis have a fixed price for each location, check that out. Alcohol in the resorts is expensive but then again that's all you got. Best to pay all meals or include dinner in your package as there are almost no restaurants outside, depending on the island, and if you find one it's either a chips or coffee spots.

    A Wonderful Beach Holiday.

    A Wonderful Beach Holiday. Necessary structure: shops and cafes are available. The ability to pay with a bank card, as well as in cash (USD, MVR). Good exchange rate in all places. I was pleased with both Mathiveri and Mathiveri Finholu: the beaches are clean, the sand does not burn your feet, and there is a comfortable "coolness" in the shade of the trees.

    Feridhoo is an island inhabited by locals. They are Muslims, so respect them and wear decent clothes when walking through the village. The island has 2 restaurants with good food and fair prices, one dive base (Noohiri) and one small shop next to Shifa Lodge. We came for diving and found an abundant maritime life. There are 2 beach areas, one at the east side with the best snorkeling ground, the other at north/west side with berths for relaxing.
