It is a really beautiful place, located near Bikiny Beach. The hotel is new and well-organized. The service and personal are great, I really liked the personalities of people there. Room cleaning was very well done and I have never tasted more delicious food)

new clean hotel, with a good location and great staff. They met me at the airport, sent me with speedboat. Met me on the island with a buggy, took me to the hotel. Excellent service. The first day they gave me a compliment in the form of a delicious dinner! Athief is a handsome guy, well done. he drove me around the island, showed me everything and took me beautiful photos, videos with a drone. He supervised me throughout my vacation. Athief a special big thank you to you. You can take a bike, masks and fins. The hotel is very conveniently located closer to the beach. The island is very beautiful and clean. If will come back to Thoddoo, then only to this hotel.

I had the pleasure of staying at Sands Grand Hotel with my wife, and I must say, it was an experience beyond expectations. From the moment we arrived, we were greeted with warm smiles and a level of hospitality that made us feel instantly welcomed. The hotel's location is perfect. The decor is tastefully done. Every detail, from the unique lobby is thoughtfully designed to provide an inviting atmosphere. Our room was a sanctuary of comfort. The bed was incredibly comfortable, with soft linens that made it hard to get up in the morning. The room was unique and impeccably clean. Dining at the hotel's restaurant was a culinary delight. The menu offered a wide variety of dishes, all prepared with the freshest ingredients. Each meal was a feast for the senses, and the service was impeccable. The staff was attentive, knowledgeable, and went out of their way to accommodate any request. The hotel also offers a range of activities and excursions, ensuring there's never a dull moment. What truly sets Sands Grand Hotel apart is their exceptional service. Every member of the staff went above and beyond to ensure our stay was nothing short of perfect. A very well sized hotel, just as we like it, and it is run by locals and not by a corporate chain, and this was also of importance for us when we booked. The is something like an authentic local life on the island, that is something we also appreciated. For travellers who do like individuality it's the perfect choice. The architecture is simple but nice, the location is excellent, the stuff is unobtrusive, helpful and very kind.

The hole place had a really nice vibe. The garden was amazing, the room was clean and well-maintained. The customer service was excellent, the owner was really helpful and kind. The breakfast was delicious and fresh every time. They also provided additional programs like snorkelling and night fishing which were amazing. There was also an option to have dinner at the accomodation. The portion was really big and the food was really tasty. All in all this accomodation is one of the best place I’ve ever stayed. Thank you chillax Thoddoo for making my vacation unforgettable!

It was amazing stay. Areef and Bill are very friendly. They took us around the island and advised what we can do on Dhangethi. Areef who runs the hotel is amazing person and take care of the guests with all his heart. Is always ready to help with a smile and really polite. Hotel is small, private, perfectly clean and quiet, with adorble small garden outside. Don't miss maledivian breakfast (it's really tasty). I totally recommend to stay here. 5 mins by walk to the beach and 3 mins to the restaurants with amazing view and delicious local food. We were with Areef on excursions - small groups and friendly atmosphere (We saw Manta-Rays! <3 ). He also helped us to organize by ourself half-day trip to Dhigurah island (took us to the harbour and helped to catch the speedboats). The island has amazing bikini beach with incredible house reef where you can see baby sharks, stingrays, corals and plenty of fishes. Sunset there is stunning. You can also find some grocery and souvenir shops in the center of the island. People on Dhangethi are very friendly and you can feel welcome there.

I loved the atmosphere, the attention to details in and outside the rooms and with guests too. Food (breakfast and dinner) is delicious and healthy. Good position, 3 minutes walking from the bikini beach. Staff is fantastic, they pick you up and take care of you luggage, they organize the excursions for you giving you water, food and umbrella for the sun. Rooms have a/c with dry function and ceiling fans. We really felt cuddled. Thank you Noor for your kindness!

    You won't believe how beautiful this Island is until you travel there and see it with your own eyes, it is like a heaven! I'm actually a very honest Person and if it's something not good I am saying it loud and am not shy at all, but there was nothing about Veliganduisland that we didn't like!!! Natascha was our travel companion, a super kind, friendly, helpful, patient and gentle person! I am sure that all the other travel companions are the same! Abdulla did our room service and he was an awesomely sweet and kind person! I am sure all the others are super friendly and helpful as well. We did our honeymoon special Drone shot and Photoshoots at the Raalhu Photo Studio and they turn out amazing!!!! We couldn't ask for a better one! Now we have the best wedding pictures and especially an awesomely edited drone video ever! I recommend them highly! Plus they were super friendly and you could feel very good at the shooting and not being under a pressure! The head cooks were super kind and friendly and we were like friends from the beginning. The Restaurant staff, all of them, like really each one of them were super friendly and kind and they gave us good vibes everytime! The bar and the Bar's staffs were of course very kind and helpful as well. I wish I could remember all the names so I could appreciate them personally. We were for our Honeymoon there and the Resort gave us Champagne and surprise Cake as a welcome. Beside of the beautiful people there ( Each one of them ) the Island was like a heaven! Very clean and beautiful, with all the Possibilities you could ask for with the best services! Also the transfer was so easy to book. All you need to do is just to contact the resort and give them your flight informations, that's it! We booked the Whirlpool Water Villa and it was very bequem and beautiful with the view and all the facilities. At the end I just want to thank the Resort and all the staffs for making us the best Honeymoon ever!

    We went here for our honeymoon. As expected, it was like paradise on earth, with the most beautiful sea and sky. The staff Nol was very helpful from day one and all the other staff greeted us with smiles and a warm attitude. We changed our room for upgrade and when we let them know we were on our honeymoon, they decorated both rooms and even offered us champagne and sweets.It was so cute and lovely. The room is in front of ocean and can be into in it immediately was wonderful in the morning and at night. We chose all-inclusive plan so we could eat without worrying about money, and we also enjoyed the spa and activities. We also can enjoyed snorkeling lots of time because of the proximity to the ocean. It was literally paradise where we didn't have to think about anything else. I felt I could stay for a week to 10 days because of the spa and activities.

    A resort that exceeds expectations, from the moment you arrive you will feel it, a service you won't find anywhere else Starting from Dariana welcoming us, and her attention to the smallest details to ensure that you have a wonderful vacation, ending with a wonderful lounge to wait for the seaplane to take you to the airport, the overwater villa is beyond description, the food is fantastic and hassan was profisional, crystal water will make you feel like you are in a dream, I believe that a trip to the Maldives aims for the wonderful villa, distinguished service, delicious food, stunning beaches, and clear waters, and in Halavali you will find it all, In conclusion I believe that Ari Atoll has the best islands for the clarity of its waters, beaches, and distinctive marine life such as the whale sharks.

    A wonderful resort on a beautiful island. We stayed in the Deluxe Overwater Villa, which was luxuriously furnished and equipped. The entrance directly from the terrace to the water was amazing. They cleaned twice every day and refilled the water bottles in the morning. They cook excellently in the restaurant. A large selection of local and Italian cuisine at dinner. Also fish every day. The kitchen staff also took care of our gluten-free diet - they baked gluten-free bread and pastries and prepared gluten-free pasta. Free water served at dinner. Beautiful sandy beaches with a coral reef with fish, turtles and reef sharks. Attentive staff. We recommend it to everyone.

    The resort was just the right size; neither too big or small. They seem to cater for couples rather than families which meant there were less people at the resort allowing the staff to be more attentive. Everyone was super friendly and the service was 5 star along with the food. We know of a few couples who visited Meeru island for their honeymoon and we did a lot of research and comparisons with Meeru but chose diamonds Thudufushi, and we have absolutely no regrets. Highly recommend this resort for couples.

    It was a great experience. We was with 2 baby girls under 2 years. The staff was helpful- Anna guest relations was always in touch with us and help us with all administrative questions. We even spoke with one of owners Giovanna she was kind with us and very nice. We lived in water villa and it was amazing. The coral reef was perfect we even saw the manta near our villa. All island Nika is beautiful green , and very clean. We will be back with the pleasure. Thank you

    Location of my beach bungalow was great. Interior was impeccable. Beautiful deco and half open bathrooms. No mosquitoes around (in general) Bed&linnen very good. Full fridge (included) with softdrinks, wine, snacks. Nespresso machine. Outdoor space with seats, table and hammock. Two sunloungers with comfy cushions.

    Very nice staff, very uncomplicated…very helpful, no signatures for nothing needed not for diving equipment not for food and beverages. Free activities, nice snorkeling beautiful reef but not so many fish compared to other locations in the Maldives.room was comfy and good equipped.

    Dhigurah is a beautiful island with a long sandy beach, without sunbeds and umbrellas, the palm trees lining the island will provide you with sufficient shade. At the end of the island there is a sandbank, which can be reached by walking, cycling or scooter through the tropical forest. There are several shops with groceries, souvenirs and restaurants on the island. There is a lot of accommodation in different places on the island with quality services. The local people are smiling and friendly. There is a hospital, a police station, the Maldivian office and mosques on the island. Waste from the island is taken to the forest, where it is burned in the afternoon, we only felt the smoke from the waste when there was a strong wind. You can get to the island from the airport by speedboat, the journey takes about two hours, if you suffer from nausea, I recommend taking anti-nausea medicine, you will definitely need it when the waves are bigger. There is a coral reef around the island, you can see many colorful fish, we were lucky to see a turtle and a small shark. There are resorts on the surrounding atolls, to which seaplanes fly daily. What we didn't like on the island is the massive construction of new accommodation facilities, I'm afraid that in a short time, there will be more tourists on the island than locals and the island will lose its authenticity and beauty.

    An amazing snorkelling beach -no boats or travel required -just thousands of colourful fish and turtles, perfect white sand and palm trees. The concession stand sold delicious, fresh-picked fruit-watermelon, papaya, bananas. We loved the Coccoa beach restaurant and the Black Anchor and the Mango House had fabulous lattes and desserts.

    I didn't like that the island lost most of it's green and I didn't see the wild nature I prefer. There was a lot of construction going on the moment I was there, I felt discomfort because of that. And maybe in 1-2 years it's going to be over I think. But on the other hand there's just amazing diving on the house reef and nearby reefs. There's a lot of nice restaurants and there was no day I felt bored.

    We enjoyed 7 days on the island. The rooms are very clean. The food is AMAZING! Everyone from staff are kind. The resort is sustainable, they try very hard to recycle and repurpose almost everything which is really nice. All inclusive is the smarter choice, trust me😄 The snorkeling is really fun! The whole island stands on coral reef and there is a lot to see! Maybe bring your own equipment, although you can rent. I don’t recommend the visit to the local island, nothing to see there We absolutely recommend

    Great for diving but not so great for snorkeling. The reef is very far out and at times the current was very strong. Prices for trips to see the whale sharks were quite expensive at 75 USD. And there were tons of other boats at the same spots - very zoo-like. Bikini beach, the only beach you can swim at in only your bathing suit is fairly shallow and windy. The better beach beside it requires you to be clothed. However, the local people are super nice and helpful.

    It was not my first time in Maldives and my experience there was disappointing compared to my previous trips in other resorts. The quality of service is poor and it’s a shame because the resort is lovely and the staff are nice but lack professionalism.

    You need maximum 3 days to complete all trips, any more than...

    You need maximum 3 days to complete all trips, any more than that would have to be someone who loves water sports as these are the main activities in this country, anyways. Bring a mosquito or any insect repellent, you will need these after a stroll on the shores or anywhere there are plants. Also have an anti-nausea pill if you are the seasick type. Taxis have a fixed price for each location, check that out. Alcohol in the resorts is expensive but then again that's all you got. Best to pay all meals or include dinner in your package as there are almost no restaurants outside, depending on the island, and if you find one it's either a chips or coffee spots.

    A Wonderful Beach Holiday.

    A Wonderful Beach Holiday. Necessary structure: shops and cafes are available. The ability to pay with a bank card, as well as in cash (USD, MVR). Good exchange rate in all places. I was pleased with both Mathiveri and Mathiveri Finholu: the beaches are clean, the sand does not burn your feet, and there is a comfortable "coolness" in the shade of the trees.

    Feridhoo is an island inhabited by locals. They are Muslims, so respect them and wear decent clothes when walking through the village. The island has 2 restaurants with good food and fair prices, one dive base (Noohiri) and one small shop next to Shifa Lodge. We came for diving and found an abundant maritime life. There are 2 beach areas, one at the east side with the best snorkeling ground, the other at north/west side with berths for relaxing.
