Beautiful room with small but meaningful touches that completely changed the atmosphere. Attention to detail. Felt very homey like my dream bedroom. Breakfast was also unique than in other places we visited with unexpected variety of sweets like ricotta cake and pastizzi, savory things like quiche. A small boutique hotel with about 18 rooms located in the center of Valletta. We were surprised by the kindness and professionalism of all the staff, starting from the very welcome of the taxi driver at the airport who was extremely kind and friendly, showed us and explained the whole city during the ride. Even though we arrived before the official check-in time, the room was ready. Every day the housekeeping did an excellent job. Since the water is not drinkable, they regularly leave a bottle of water, it is equipped with tea, coffee, a hairdryer, an iron etc. The breakfast was varied and of good quality, if you want eggs, they cook them as you order so you will never get cold scrambled eggs. The reception staff is very friendly and ready to help at any time of the day or night. The location of the hotel is in the very center of Valletta, close to the main street and all attractions. We are very pleased with the service and if we ever return to Malta, we will definitely stay at this hotel again!!

Lovely room and bathroom. Wonderful roof top with a small pool and a bar and the magnificent views over the harbour and towards the 3 Cities across the water. There is a also a very smart spa with indoor pool and sauna etc. The staff were friendly and helpful. They looked after our bags on early arrival and put them in our room for us. They looked after our bags on departure day and that evening after a sweltering day out they gave us access to the shower facility in the spa area.

    It was an unforgettable experience. From the moment we arrived, the staff was incredibly welcoming and attentive. The check-in process was smooth and efficient, and we were promptly escorted to our room. The accommodations were top-notch. Our room was spacious, clean, and beautifully decorated, with a stunning view of the sea .The bed was extremely comfortable, and we appreciated the thoughtful amenities like mini-fridge, coffee/tea maker, balcony. The resort itself offered a wide range of activities and amenities that made our stay even more enjoyable. We spent our days lounging by the pool, indulging in spa treatments, and exploring the local area where we enjoyed fire works at Santa maria's village . The on-site restaurants served delicious meals with a variety of options to suit all tastes. The breakfast was amazing. Overall, our experience at Salini exceeded our expectations. It was the perfect getaway, and we left feeling relaxed and rejuvenated. I highly recommend this resort to anyone looking for a luxurious and memorable vacation.

    The staff couldnt do enough for us .We had some major problems and Miriam and especially Rachael spent a lot of time helping me .Rachael spent over an hour booking 5 rooms for 5 days to go into the restaurants .She also lent me her mobile to phone the airline .The Orient and Lavent were really nice restaurants and good food .The jungle was also ok The Brazilian just ok .The buffet breakfasts had everything you could want and we had lunch in both restaurants and it was ok The Sunday lunch was the best .The pools inside and outside were good and there were more than enough chairs for everyone The rooms were cleaned spotless everyday .I was worried about coming after some reviews and I have worked for a 5 star hotel for 40 years and this wasnt 5 star but was better than my expectations Bed was comfortable as well

    The rooms were big and nice, view was exceptional (we had the view to the sea). We had half board and it was magnificent. Breakfast was rich and dinner changed every evening. The food was excellent. Extra points for free beer and wine. Beds were very comfy. There is an indoor pool and small sauna also. Indoor pool had nice salty water, but some might say that the room was a bit tired and gets noisy when a lot of children are playing there. Sauna is quite small. The hotel rents tennis court and basketball court also. You really cannot play there, but offers slight change in resting activities. It's best to have low expectations on that. Location is in the middle of nowhere - there is nothing around. The ferry to Gozo island is about 2min walk away.

    The Hotel is amazing. Cosy, clean and the staff are super friendly. A good choice of restaurants to choose from and they all taste delicious. The Sunday lunch is exceptional though. Variety of foods to choose from and they cater for all nutritions. The Hotel's location is very convenient, close to the promenade, multiple restaurants and bars around as well as very close to the Bus Terminus.

    The beach was clean and sunbeds with umbrellas were great. They even provided a separate towel to lie on. This was a small cost for the use of it all day. The bar and restaurant weren’t part of our hotel but just a stones throw, so perfect. Lots of rocks to lie on and ladders used in parts to get into the sea. St. Paul’s Bay is a pretty town with shops, restaurants, and beachside cafes, easy to get around using ferry and Uber.

    So many steps if staying near the Elmo Fort. If very hot, can be tricky. Food was excellent. Super little convenience store called Dad Dar. City bus very handy, as it does continual circular route and very cheap.

    The district is very practical, close to boats and ferry, the harbor promenade is plenty of life yet 10 min drive by ferry to Valletta where most of cultural, gastronomic and leisure activities happens.

    Although I have been to Mellieha before and it has changed...

    Although I have been to Mellieha before and it has changed enormously in the last 25 years, I think it is still one of the most charming parts of Malta. There are dozens of bars and restaurants, a fair few of which I have visited and every one was excellent. I could not fault the village in any way I would certainly recommend this as a holiday destination. Although very hilly, I believe that is part of its charm and I have stayed in other parts of Malta, all of which have their own attraction.

    Relaxing village with an active but not too busy, harbour. Mainly the local Maltese and tourists with families or couples/small groups. Not many from England. Great pizza parlour on the harbour. Taj-Familja was a fabulous family run fish restaurant about 10mins from property. Recommend them both.

    Msida is a great location to stay being perfectly placed to...

    Msida is a great location to stay being perfectly placed to visit the busy areas of Valletta, Sliema and St Julian's. The marina is amazing with some of the best restaurants in Malta just a short distance away on foot or by Uber or Bolt. Buses run to all parts of the island from stops within walking distance of the centre. Breakfast at the Busy Bee in Msida is a must as is a visit to their ice cream parlour in the evening.

    Having travelled around GOZO and MALTA for 2 weeks you realise it is a small place and you can get everywhere within 30 mins. We could have stayed in Valletta and done a day trip to here and it would have been enough.

    Not your normal seaside holiday resort.

    Not your normal seaside holiday resort. The freeport as a back drop can be a bit of a shock but is soon overlooked. The Village is quaint with ample facilities, but not the place for people looking for nightlife. Lovely. Great time had by all our family.
