Stunning hotel. Breakfasts was delicious and fresh, lots of options. Room was clean and tidied daily. Pool was beautiful with deck lounges you could lay on and umbrellas. View is breathtaking.     Location was great, right in town, beach across from the hotel. The room was an entire apartment, well decorated and very clean, and air conditioned, nice view. Larger than some 5 star places we have stayed elsewhere in Europe. The food at the restaurant is very good, breakfast buffet is good quality and plentiful, restaurant food (dinner) is very good. Restaurant could be much better if they decorated better. But the sea-food is very good. Better than most of the rest of the town. The best however, was the staff. Extremely polite, accommodating and good humored, they allowed us to stay a bit longer after checkout to get suited up to attend a wedding. Value for money, a great place to stay!

    The season doesn't start at full swing until 1st June. We had the property to ourselves ( group of 9) between 25-31 May. We were upgraded to top floor apartment for no extra charge. The sunset views are amazing. The views from the backyard are stunning. The swimming pool is great for young guest and the older ones too. Five minutes walk from the beach. New, lovely members of staff look after guests and the place at the highest standards. I have holiday blues already...

    The Hotel is in a good position near the center. New and functional. Big comfy rooms with everything you need. Breakfast was extremely good. But the main thing about this Hotel is the staff: really nice and welcoming people, who helped us a lot and make us feel at home even so far away from our.     I'm afraid my impression of Bar was that it was industrial,...

    I'm afraid my impression of Bar was that it was industrial, a bit ugly and not very well looked after.(Sorry Bar, maybe I didn't go to the right places!) Wanting to visit places that are not yet wholly given over to tourism, is a two edged sword; it means that the 'pretty views' are often obscured by something utilitarian and not pretty! I took a taxi boat to Sutomore beach, which was a lovely trip and incredibly good value. The beach and water was fabulous but I think every person in the whole of Montenegro had had the same idea and the beach was extremely crowded. My reason for visiting Bar was to do the train journey from Bar to Belgrade, which I had read was one of the most beautiful in Europe. It did not disappoint and made me forgive Bar everything!

    The coast is beautiful and perfect for swimming, snorkeling and sunsets. We liked the fact you could walk all the way from our apartment to the town. It's very touristy in town and the town itself wasn't particularly special, but we enjoyed the reasonably priced bars and restaurants as well as some jetskiing.

    It is a small place crowded with cars and people. First of all it is dirty and untidy, rubish all over the place. We got stomach flu because of it. The nature is great but it's a pitty people have ruined it.

    Clearly, whole place is a huge health issue. Rooms and resort is OK but there are following issues: Restaurant is too small for number of rooms and people checked in. There are no cold and hot food service lines and all the cold meats and cheese are melted, no air conditioning, fly everywhere and on the food. Huge health issue. Rooms are not cleaned at all, we arrived and got dirty room. Whole resort is full of trash. Big complaint to Booking.com as well. I wrote them an email about this issue but they are not monitoring customer service email any longer. They keep directing you to the hotel customer service, which is OK if the issue is fixable but in this case was not. Later on my daughter got sick from food poisoning and was admitted in ER in nearby town. Shame on you booking.com as well.

    Šušanj is on the coast, you will have a good view from the terraces of most houses. The beach is long with several rows of beautiful pine trees 10-15 meters from the sea along the entire length of the beach, this creates beautiful natural shadows, the beach is good, in some parts with finer sand or smaller stones, the only anomaly for some may be that there are large stones in the sea. There are two restaurants on the beach, and 50 meters away there are several well-stocked shops with normal everyday prices and also several restaurants and an excellent pizzeria

What food produce you cannot get from the smaller seafront shops you will find in the bigger shops along the main road that you arrived via. Everyone seems to speak perfect English and everyone was super friendly. The little seafront road can be chaotic and with no dedicated footpath you need to be careful. The bay itself is beautiful with limestone mountains behind you and clear blue water in front of you. Together with two castles you can freely visit and with also the possibility to get to a lake tour within minutes, if you use the tunnel, or take the mountain route road and see fantastic panoramas of both sides of the mountain range, and with snow capped Albanian mountains along the horizon - the place is a dream come true.

    It is a small village I can say, just built for tourism.

    It is a small village I can say, just built for tourism. A nice little walk every evening, with several good restaurants for you to enjoy a decent meal at a fair price. For me personally it is better to have BB instead of a hal- or full-board because of these little restaurants or taverns where you can find a really good bite. Always looking to try something new.
