- From £179.63 per nightScored out of 10, guest rating 8.5Very good - What previous guests thought, 345 reviewsI had a wonderful time at Hotel Menzeh Zalagh and I am very grateful for my stay there. Both of the rooms in which I stayed were spacious, clean and nicely decorated. The beds were super comfortable and the mini fridge was unbelievably convenient. Each room also had a balcony with a beautiful view - this was a really nice touch and allowed me to soak up the atmosphere and relax. The rooms also had a desk which I personally found really helpful to use when going through emails and doing my skincare. I also really enjoyed the food that I had in the hotel. The breakfast selection is varied with a mixture of hot and cold items. There are also pastries and a coffee machine. The hotel Pizzeria restaurant was my preferred go to for my evening meals and I would absolutely recommend the steak dish - it was so so so good and I wish I could have some right now! Finally, I have to give a special mention to the staff of this hotel who made me feel so welcomed and looked after. I met multiple staff members during my stay and all of them were so kind and helpful. It was reassuring to know that I had someone to call upon if I needed help. This is a really nice hotel and it is one that I would love to visit again whether on my own or with my family.Guest review byHumnaUnited Kingdom
- Scored out of 10, guest rating 8.9Fabulous - What previous guests thought, 559 reviewsIt's a beautiful riad with a nice terrace and a fresh indoor pool inside. My room: nice bathroom, the beds were very comfortable! The staff was so friendly and helpful. I had a problem with my car and the hotel manager was so kind to help me with this (he spent more than 2 hours to help me with this: driving with me to a garage, explaining the problem to the mechanic, waiting with me until it was finished... , without asking anything for this!). Thank you so much to staff and manager for your excellent care! I felt very cared for!🧡 I highly recommend this riad! My warmest regards, HildeGuest review byHilde MarcBelgium

The issue was that I booked accommodation in the old medina...
The issue was that I booked accommodation in the old medina which is a labyrinth. This leaves tourists being constantly harassed by locals trying to scam money from them or deliberately deceiving them about closed streets, etc. Skip Fez and go to Marrakech and Essouira. So much better without all the hassles:)Guest review byRichardUnited States - 6.0
Loved the beautiful artisanal crafts and decor everywhere.
Loved the beautiful artisanal crafts and decor everywhere. Love this place for its connection to history. What I didn’t like was how the people living in the medina would lie about roads being closed, keep trying to befriend you in a fake way do they can lead you anywhere then fight about tips. I also really disliked the obscene tourist pricing in the markets. Artisans and shop kerpers mark up items 4, 5 or more times what the price of the item should be. A lot of deception and trickery when selling.Guest review byAnonymous - 4.0
Same as marrakesh but not as exhausting. Same tip culture!
Same as marrakesh but not as exhausting. Same tip culture! Really off putting for those who do not come from this tipping culture. Would skip Fes if I was doing the trip again… I would have stayed in Ifrane instead.Guest review byKathrynIreland
