What a lovely place to stay. Incedible view that you can admire straight from your bed. Spacious and comfortable rooms that have everything you need: big and comfy bed, well equiped bathroom, big windows and a tarace where you will have delicious and healthy home made breakfasts. The room was very clean and all the property is well maintaned. And most of all I was very delighted by great hospitality and service provided by the owner. Highly recommend this place especially, if you want to be close to very lively Ella town, but far enough to rather enjoy sounds and beauty of nature. Thank you for this incedible time I had during my stay in Tea Hills Ella!

It wad one of the most magical places we stayed in Sri Lanka. The views of the mountain is just spectacular. The house is spacious, well decorated and equipped. The family owning the house is super sweet and made us feel right at home!

The host is marvelous! We arrived on the broken scooter late in the evening. The host found for us a mechanic who fixed the scooter quickly and for reasonable price. Very very good and nice man!!! Chaminda, if you are reading this, thank you very much! We enjoyed the stay and we would love to come here again. The place is quiet and calm, the view is nice, on scooter it is very close to Ella. There are several small fruit stores nearby. The room is big, there is fan, no conditioner but it was not needed. The hotel has lovely territory and place outside with kitchen with nice view where we had breakfast and dinner.

The people at The Cubes are fantastic! We arrived late in the evening and it rained hence the road was wet. The slope up to the accomodation was a little steep and our car had some problem going up. 4 guys came very quickly to check and helped pushed the car up! So very grateful. We were greeted with great smiles and welcome drinks...felt like friends instantly. Breakfast was great too looking out to the hills and had a good chat with the accomodation manager. On the whole, the staff were very friendly, helpful and patient. Thank you The Cubes!

    We absolutely loved our stay here the hotel is like a little oasis in the jungle. The rooms were absolutely beautiful we stayed in both Peppercorn Cottage and one of the suites and loved them both. They are tastefully decorated and the design is incredible. The highlight for us was the infinity pool, we have stayed in some beautiful places on our honeymoon in Sri Lanka, but this infinity pool is second to none it looks even better than the photos! The service throughout our stay was also amazing and we loved the private waterfall.

    The hotel is incredibly beautiful, very well equipped, the rooms are spacious and very clean. It is located in the heart of the town, making it within easy walking distance of the various restaurants and shops. The hotel is a 5 minute walk from Ella station. It was my husband's birthday, and Ujith made us an in-room cake with candles! My husband even got a wrapped present before he left. A real sweetheart! The staff at this hotel go out of their way to make your stay enjoyable and unforgettable. Thank you so much Ujith!

    From the moment of check in to check out, I had a wonderful stay at orient hotel. The staff were extremely friendly and professional and the food was delicious. Special mention must be made to the GM Mr. Chandima who was always on the scene and attentive to our needs. We were also provided with a Trek to Ella Rock accompanied by hotel staff and a packed hotel lunch which was an incredible experience I would highly recommend. Overall was a great visit and will definitely be staying here again next time I visit.

    most romantic place during our trip! if you have the time and courage DO NOT MISS this place. you will understand in the morning. little bit difficult to get there but not impossible. we got there by car, durign a nasty rain, so the car did not make the last 750 meters, we had to walk, getting soaked. in the morning we went down to ohiya on foot,it was a nice walk.

    This place is like heaven on earth. Situated on the edge of a cliff. It's like living above clouds. Most spectacular view. View from infinity pool is priceless. rooms are very clean.     We stay only on night in the hotel. Breakfast and dinner was excellent!! The flowers in the garden were really beautiful. We were lucky to see a wedding in the garden on the next morning, with authentic dancers and drummers , not to speak about the couple wearing traditional wedding dress. It was a unique experience.

    The view of this hotel is to die for. It’s absolutely stunning. The highlights of this hotel are the friendly staff in the restaurant, the pool area and the rooms. It’s a bit difficult to get to as it’s mostly uphill, but it’s worth it. The hotel has also been renamed which is a little confusing as it’s not clear.

Too many buildings (hotels in particular) are under construction in the delicate hills of Ella, they should protect the environment as the place will loose its magic if it becomes just some kind of shopping mall / tourist centre. The hotels are already enough, no need for more.

    Almost everything.

    Almost everything. Location was close to Horton Plains and the owners arranged a tuk tuk ride for a nominal fee. Lovely surrounding. Food was tasty and ample given. Really worth it. Owners were friendly and made the guests feel at home.

    Haputale is a breathtaking hill town surrounded by lush tea estates and misty mountains. We stayed at Benito Bungalow by The Serendipity Collection, where the in-house chef prepared fresh and delicious meals every day. The cool climate, scenic views, and peaceful setting made it the perfect place to unwind. It’s quieter and less touristy than other hill stations, which adds to its charm. A true hidden gem in Sri Lanka!

    Even though My stay in Badulla was too short to visit all the beautiful places, the trip to Dunhida waterfall was a great experience, especially for kids. The path to Dunhida might be difficult for someone. I believe it was a very nice experience to walk through the jungle. Once you see the waterfall, you will forget all the tiredness.

    It's a beautiful place on top of the mountains, surrounded by mountains and clouds, just like in a heave. Food was delicious 😋 I can never forget the rice and curry bowl I had at Serenite. It's a perfect place for peace, that relaxes your senses. Ravana waterfall is a must to visit.

    Most of the activities are outside of main Haputale the hiking is wonderful as was our visit to Lipton's seat and the tour of the tea factory. Main Haputale not really much going on but the hotel was perfect after a long day of hiking.
