He helped arrange tuk-tuks, shopping, and even welcomed me into his beautiful village. That day will stay with me. Chuti’s cooking is out of this world — soulful curries cooked to perfection. Asanka, Cha, and the rest of the team are warm, intuitive, and quietly brilliant. Returning to your cottage feels like the fairies have been — everything clean, calm, and glowing. It’s the kind of place that makes you breathe deeper, sleep better, and believe in the goodness of people again. I travel a lot. I’m extremely picky. And I can say — from Monte Carlo to Mauritius — this is in my top three stays anywhere in the world. The Cottage is family, nature, care, and calm wrapped into one unforgettable experience. Places like this aren’t found — they find you. And they stay with you.

It’s a nice cozy place to stay. The interior is fabulous. I liked the concept of interior design. The owner, his wife and their lovely children are so hospitable. It’s very near to airport and also easy to explore restaurants and store for necessities. Highly recommended. Room has every facilities. It’s a value for money. Even it is in town but you find the nature as well.

Very very friendly staff. The owner is trying his best to make our stay confortable. The rest of the staff is also very helpful and friendly. The pictures on Booking are bad because the building is amazing and the reality is better than pictures. Very nice and big garden and very beautifull and clean pool. Room was huge and very clean. Bathroom was very nice as well.

Very pleasant and clean accommodation. We chose this accommodation because it was located near the airport. We were only here for a few hours but we were very pleasantly surprised by the cleanliness and nice equipment and welcome by staff. We didn't know it before but the property provided a personal driver who would take you to the airport by tuktuk at any time for 800. We had an early morning flight and they had no problem picking us up at 04:00. Everything will be made more pleasant by 2 small dogs who will welcome you first.

    After 5 months stay at different places in SL I mostly enjoyed a proper water pressure in bathroom/shower, real cleanness, well trained staff but not stiff. Really felt welcome not just being a ATM ;) Only having breakfast twice and inroom dining as well, I was more than satisfied about taste, quality and presentation. Maybe for longer stays variety could become little limited. From front desk, restaurant/pool, security employees all of them are very empathic also to 4legged nonpaying visitors seeking shelter or some food.

    Great communication about pickup at airport and arrival at 4 am. Met with smiles everywhere 🤩 Apartment is huge, clean and with a balcony right at the beach. Comfy bed, good airco, it even has a washing machine. Plenty of nice restaurants for breakfast and dinner, and watching the sunset from your balcony or the top floor is a treat.

    Perfect service from the welcome to the last goodbye. Always smilling and willing to help all the time. Even i had early check in and late check out no adsitional fee was charged. Had try the SPA as well which is on top of the roof with perfect ocean view. Massage was very good. Further, food in restaurant was really really tasty!

    I hear from others Negombo was great area for the visitors also it is closer to CMB airport that was the reason I selected there. After I explore the area there are so many nice hotels are there to book and also heard down south area is becoming a good spot for the tourism than Negombo.

    Katunayake is a convenient location for travelers, especially those flying in or out of Bandaranaike International Airport. It’s a busy area with easy access to transportation and essential services, making it ideal for short stays before or after a flight. I stayed at Hello Airport Hotel during my time in Katunayake, and it was a great choice. The hotel is just a few minutes from the airport, which made it perfect for my early morning departure. The location couldn’t be better for transit passengers. The check-in was smooth, the staff were polite, and the room was clean and comfortable. If you’re looking for a no-fuss, convenient stop near the airport, I’d definitely recommend Hello Airport Hotel.

    The owner, Mr Nelson was extremely helpful from the time he picked me up from the airport until the last minute of my stay. Specially, in the midst of the Sri Lankan curfew. Thank you. I recommend this place for anyone in the future.

    Perfect one/two nights on arrival take a tuktuk tour its worth it and last night before you leave. Negombo is 30 mins to the main SRI Lankan Airport, much close than Colombo. Also all hotels have UK plug sockets which is useful

    We stayed here overnight after travelling around Sri Lanka. We did not expect the warmth and kindness we received. The room was very cheap, yet large, clean and the proprietor even gave us lifts locally to the shops etc.

    I like most of the thing is staff's response was excellent and very quiet and peaceful room. The hotel must be implemented to do below the mentioned points. 1: The hotel room needs to keep a dustbin. 2: The hotel must keep a bath towel inside the bathroom. 3; The Bathroom inside the slippers needs to be kept. Other than this everything is ok.

    Its one of my favourite places in Sri Lanka.

    Its one of my favourite places in Sri Lanka. The food places like Prego, Toro pub, Bamboo Kitchen with Shisha, Rodeo are some of the amazing places. The Browns Beach and the people are amazing and loving. Infact Poruthota road has a SPA CEYLON boutique you can use it for mssage rituals from Luxury Ayurveda. Beautiful coastal lines, fsh markets, churches etc. A must visit.

    I arrived too early BUT, as a result, had a GREAT pedicure and head/neck massage, about an hour in all. Perfect preparation for a 10.5 hour flight to London. Recommended go early snd indulge yourself.
