United StatesDennis, Mercy and Faith were AMAZING in the restaurant. They are so friendly and I had a great time chatting with them while I was there. They need a raise!
Reception was very welcoming and organizing a game drive for me last minute. My guide Peter was the best guide ever! Rooms were very clean, food was great in the restaurant. Definitely pay for the breakfast, it is the best breakfast I've had at a hotel that is buffet style.

Tom, the owner of the property was available at all times and spoiled us with African tea, gave me information about the surroundings and even offered a free ride back to the train station at our departure.

NetherlandsDon’t hesitate to book this accommodation! The bubble is amazing, unique and one of a kind. It feels so luxury and at the same time you’re surrounded by nature. It’s very private and you even have your own outdoor kitchen and outdoor shower (with warm water! The first warm water we had in Kenya!)
There is a little village at just 5 minute walk where you can buy fruits, vegetables, chapati, fried potatoes and meat.
Serah is an amazing host. Very fast in her response and she’s able to help you with all of the activities: safari in Tsavo west or east, an amazing hike through the mountains or a waterfall trip. Her vision and entrepreneur spirit is amazing to see and she has some great advices. Thank you so much for everything and hopefully we’ll be back one day!

Driving to the lodge didn’t encounter many animals due to bush and lava rock. But at Serena we saw hundreds of animals including many small babies come to the large waterhole right in front of us. But previous trips to Voi was great because one can visit Tsavo east and Tsavo west as well as some of the private wildlife sanctuaries from Voi. Unfortunately the lack of rains for the past three seasons...
Unfortunately the lack of rains for the past three seasons have impacted the wildlife, and there were many dead animals. But the upside to this is that those larger animals still in the tourist area of the part were concentrated around water holes. Making them easier to view. Access to the NP is very expensive (USD 100 per person) for a non-Kenyan resident. While this is a tax which helps keep Rangers and other staff in work, it seems elitist and unaffordable for the majority. Some of that money would be well spent on improving the tracks within the park. They are extremely uncomfortable to travel along and, even in a 4x4, quite dangerous. With our vehicle regularly sliding out to the sides. The best advice on seeing wildlife is to be a little adventurous and take some of the less regularly used tracks. We were able to see elephant, Greater and Lesser Kudu, all the big cats except leopard, snake eagles and many other bird species.Guest review bySimonUnited Kingdom - 8.0

Voi is a superb tourist destination.

Voi Wildlife Lodge has some extremely peaceful spots during the day when the majority of people are out of the hotel. Within hours of arriving I usually can feel my muscles unwind. The views are breathtaking, and the ability to be so close to the animals is fun. The staff is incredible and would probably pass for a four star hotel. There are only two major downfalls. One, is that there is not WiFi available in the rooms. Two, is that it is starting to show its age. If the owners invest some money to update things it will be right back up where it was the first time I visited five years ago.Guest review byBrook
