- Scored out of 10, guest rating 9.4Superb - What previous guests thought, 48 reviewsFirst off, the staff at this hotel are exceptional, everyone you meet is happy, positive and goes above and beyond your expectations of quality service. The club room option, while a bit expensive, is an incredible experience. There is access to a members only lounge and swimming pool, so you are guaranteed a quiet, relaxed space to enjoy food and drinks. We practically had the place to ourselves, including the chef. The food was fantastic and varied daily, prepared by the excellent chef Steven and his assistant Daglas, who are both absolute gentlemen. The service we got was so good, we made a list of names of the staff who made our stay most memorable. Doreen, Caroline, Andy and Alex running the lounge were always on hand, with a drink, for a chat, a laugh and to share some local knowledge with us, they made every meal time a joy. Jack looked after our room and was on call at any moment to get us whatever we needed, he is an extremely nice, friendly person and a great ambassador for the Sarova brand. Veronica doing entertainment and games is full of positive energy and always greets you with a big smile, creating a lovely, fun atmosphere around the place. Upon arrival, we were met by the wonderful Ruth, who can organise and fix anything for the guests,, she is an amazing person and really enhanced the experience of our visit. And last but not least our guide for the game drive, Daniel, being a Masai he has great knowledge of Masai Mara, where best to see the big 5, and all the other incredible animals and birds, we had an amazing time with him as our guide. I honestly can't speak more highly about the place and all the staff we met were amazing, just the list above are the people who we spent the most time with. There's a nice, relaxed, happy atmosphere to the place with a genuine commitment by everyone to ensure you have the most amazing experience possible. We will 100% be back!Guest review byRichardIreland
- From £872.68 per nightScored out of 10, guest rating 9.8Exceptional - What previous guests thought, 10 reviewsAn amazing place for a luxurious safari holiday. The staff were amazing, great service. From the wet towels when you step off the jeep, to the food (amazing chefs), to the room staff. Every time we even stepped out of the tent, our bins were emptied, bed was made (even when we were going to check out), and room set. Game drives were amazing, guides knew their stuff and worked together to find the big 5. We stayed in Giraffe Cliff which was an amazing place. On the first night we had elephants right outside our tent, breaking branches at 1am! Every night the elephants were around, sleeping around the tents, but staff were always on site to guide us with torches if we ever needed to get around. They've thought of everything. We had an amazing time there, and would highly recommend it.Guest review byAmyUnited Kingdom
- From £428.95 per nightScored out of 10, guest rating 8.5Very good - What previous guests thought, 159 reviewsMuthu is the recommended place to stay if you come to the main Mara Park Service is amazing, special thanks to the outstanding attention from Judy, but all of the staff is great The hotel has a Hippo-Pool and Bar that is much better than advertised, here you can come to wind down with a nice cold local beer after a safari game drive, as the sun goes down Hippos become more active. The hotel is not fenced first night we saw a buffalo in the property, close to the room (1239). Sunsets from the patio look amazing, also there is a bonfire every night where you can just enjoy or talk to other guestsGuest review byJAVIERMexico
- From £655.36 per nightScored out of 10, guest rating 8.9Fabulous - What previous guests thought, 18 reviewseverything it’s absolutely beautiful, the hotel , location, staff are amazing, super friendly and nothing is a bother. we arrived late day one (our own fault) and on leaving they had a packed lunch ready for us to take as they said we had missed one of our lunches! if your looking for a authentic stay inside the Masai Mara park with the most fantastic setting wrapped around you then 100% recommend the Ashnil. we were a family of 5 - all adults and everyone adored it. lovely big swimming pool with sun lounge area ..Guest review byCatherineIreland
- From £954.04 per nightScored out of 10, guest rating 8.7Fabulous - What previous guests thought, 6 reviewsIt was our second visit to Mara NP, but our first time sleeping within these grounds. Waking up with a river view and having zebras or hyenas or giraffes looking right across is mesmerising. The tent was clean, comfortable and spacious enough for three persons. Esmo was assigned to take care of us at meal times and he did a wonderful job. The meals were freshly prepared and very good. It was like a set menu and there was always a vegeterian option. The Masai also made us feel safe in the evening while escorting us.Guest review byClaireNetherlands
- From £526.94 per nightScored out of 10, guest rating 8.6Fabulous - What previous guests thought, 157 reviewsFig Tree is just mind blowing. In the middle of the Park, directly at a river with Hippos and crocodiles. On the first night we saw a Rhino mom getting out of the water with her baby, all shown with flash lights. Birds a chirping in the mornings and monkeys were running around on top of the main house - what an experience, hard to beat. The rooms are luxurious and the buffet meals are very good. Overall a fantastic experience.Guest review byFlorianKenya

Food is well presented and tasty however it is a bit salty.
Food is well presented and tasty however it is a bit salty. If there is tea pots, and some sweets the stay would be more relaxing. Breakfast and Lunch box we had for game drive was excellent with tasty Rosemary chicken roast. There you can find many animals during your stay in Kobe Mara, so you may feel as if you are staying in the park. What makes this camp outstanding is absolutely hospitality of the staffs. We definitely recommend this camp and we like to come back again soon.Guest review byAkiJapan - 8.0
Purity and Alex were great guides!
Purity and Alex were great guides! We had one extended game drive and we were able to see everything in just one day! The place was peaceful and nice. During July, it may get a little cold inside the tents… cleanness was immaculate!Guest review byVeronicaParaguay - 8.0
Mara Explorer Tented camp is awesome.
Mara Explorer Tented camp is awesome. The food was epic, the game drives were excellent and our guide was superb. One issue though is when booking all Inclusive we assumed this was all we would need to pay as this stated game drives included but it doesn’t include park fees which are an additional 100 USD per person per day so we were stuck with an extra USD 600 which we had not budgeted for. Make sure you have the means to pay the park fees in addition to any other costs. This does make it much more expensive. A cheaper alternative is the Nairobi National Park.Guest review bySwordsieDxBUnited Arab Emirates - 10.0
its amazing especially if your an animal lover.
its amazing especially if your an animal lover. Its a must see for sure. make sure to leave early morning than late as most of the animals are more active during the day. we were blessed to see all the big5 and all thanks goes to our Guide Mr Peter.Guest review byMendesUnited Arab Emirates - 8.0
Keekorok is in fabulous location.
Keekorok is in fabulous location. Especially for Game Drive just outside of camp you Will see many animals. Exactly outside of your room you can walk around and enjoy with Garden and swimming pool and walking toward the Hippo pool takes 5 minutes. Staff were excellent. Sometimes during the day the power went out. And another things which I have to mention the quality of food can be much better. If you pay for full board Drinks not included even water.Guest review byPeyman parkhooIran - 10.0
Great place, lots of animals, beautiful landscapes.
Great place, lots of animals, beautiful landscapes. Pity that the guides from some travel agencies are not respecting the large carnivores (lions, cheetah) and come too close. Also some guides are allowing tourists to sit on the roof of the jeep, which is forbidden as it is frightening animals.Guest review byAnneBelgium - 10.0

The national park is really beautiful. went to safari for three days and could get almost all the Animals. Missed Migartion as the Zebras were reluctant to cross the river though they have gone down few times and came up again. our driver and vehicle were very good. He had taken extra efforts to show us all the animals in Vantage points. The double horned Rhino sighting was memorable. That was the only time when we spotted a Rhino in the whole 10 days trip to four national parks. The Animals were found to be very healthy. We were not lucky enough to spot any Chasing and hunting scenes. The National Park roads are good though little dusty. Had packed lunch from the camp.Guest review byAniNarlzzNetherlands - 6.0
Beautiful ensemble. Central location in Maasai Mara.
Beautiful ensemble. Central location in Maasai Mara. About 1 hour to Mara River. The hotel needs a general renovation and is too expensive for what it is offering. Poor breakfast and coffee and only fair dinner.Guest review byGunterGermany - 10.0
Fig Tree safari camp is in an amazing location!
Fig Tree safari camp is in an amazing location! The entire camp is surrounded by a river that you look out at from your room, complete with hippos and other wildlife. The camp is very safe with Maasai men patrolling the park all night. They also walk you to your tent after dark. There is a beautiful pool, campfire, dining room. It’s worth the drive!Guest review byLindaUnited States - 10.0

Breathtaking experience. If you love nature and want to connect with it, this is the palace to visit. Very easy to get around. And see lots of wild animals especially the lion which could be seen easily in this reserve and not seen easily in the other game parks.Guest review byJulie
