Nice hotel, good location as you can easily move around the city, and it’s in a secure environment too, the staff here are welcoming, breakfast was good, room is as seen on booking.com. Safety is the best of Karen.
Safety is the best of Karen. It's quiet, a lot of nature, sidewalks (so good for walking/running). Waterfront mall has everything you need, CJ's restaurant are high quality. Same with Naivas markets. It might be hard to get public transport, but Uber-Bolt are in 1000s. Giraffe center and Waterfront amusement are great places to visit. Nairobi is a bigger city than I expected.
Nairobi is a bigger city than I expected. Getting around during off peak times is reasonable easy, however it can be quite busy during peak times. Getting through the international airport can be a painful experience as you have to get out of the car and go through security as you get to the main gate to the airport. Different to my prior travelling experiences, however once I settled in and became more familiar with locals customs and found the basic services, so I grew to really like Nairobi. The climate, the weather is sensational, overall the people are generally very friendly and welcoming.
