- From £123.67 per nightScored out of 10, guest rating 7.8Good - What previous guests thought, 1,721 reviewsOne of our group member got sick during the stay, the staff were very assistive to find the medical facility, and Mr . Kajino, one of their staff, also accompanied us to the hospital to help us communicate with the healthcare personnels there. We really appreciate their help and their service mind especially Mr. Kajino. The hotel location is good, short walking distance to the Glico signs and favorite shopping malls. Bed were comfy and there were space under the bed to keep our luggage, make the room more spacious.Guest review byKhemmachartThailand
- From £323.03 per nightScored out of 10, guest rating 9.2Superb - What previous guests thought, 197 reviewsInitially email communication was misleading , you actually don’t need to request for shuttle fr the San Bandai bus from Osaka. The airport shuttle stops n pickup from there. We stayed 2 nights, no need to book private, the 9Fand B2 baths were great, the interactive Kaiseri dinners were excellent, the breakfast was so good, we skipped lunch both days. Spouse making plans to go back next year. We requested the Japanese style rooms and enjoyed it despite tough getting up fr the floor due to my titanium kneesGuest review byyimCanada
- Scored out of 10, guest rating 9.4Superb - What previous guests thought, 581 reviewsThe location was everything!! It's walkable to many major tourist spots like Kiyomizu-dera. Also good for those who wants to get pictures with the Hokan-ji pagoda in the early morning without anyone. The room was cute and have everything you need for your stay. Plus the staffs were so super friendly, helpful and good in English. I will definitely choose this hotel again for the next visit in Kyoto.Guest review byParnuphanThailand

Bright and cheerful with a nice balcony that overlooks the lake. There were 3 of us in one room but there was still plenty of space. The good quality coffee and tea provided in the room are great touches. Love the breakfast too - there's plenty of choices and they all taste good. Would love to stay there again.Guest review byShirleySingapore

Kobe is a great city to visit. A vibrant, buzzing and cosmopolitan city with memorable features such as the ropeway to the herb garden at the JR Shin Kobe Station at Sannomiya (an absolute must for visitors), the Maya cable car and ropeway and the Akashi bridge to Awaji Island.Guest review byPeterAustralia - 10.0
Nara is beautiful.
Nara is beautiful. There are two UNESCO world heritage sites and lots of deer. If you are afraid of animals, I don't recommend it. The deer will follow you if you have food and they may try to take it from you if you hesitate or don't gently push them away. They are not, as a general rule, aggressive. A lot of tourists freak out and just throw their crackers. Don't do that. Stay calm. The deer don't want to hurt you, they just want a snack. They don't care for being pet either. Just snap your crackers (200 yen sold at different stands) into 3-4 pieces, hold out your hand flat and let them take it from you. Be aware of how many are around you. They will surround and nibble your clothing. I found this hilarious. I grew up with cows and they will pretty much do the same thing. Use your voice and be gentle. The one day bus pass is really useful. I wish I had more time in Nara.Guest review bySarahUnited States - 10.0

We only stayed one night when we arrived as we needed a place to recharge and freshen up before we head to Kyoto. The hotel is very nice with complete amenities in the room. The room we occupied has the view of the airport runway but we never heard any noise coming from the airplanes arriving and taking off. A bit expensive but it was worth it. Breakfast buffet was very good too.Guest review byAnonymous - 6.0

Himeji is obviously very famous for its castle, but other than that lacks many things to do. I found my time there to be rather boring, and we often struggled to find activities to fill our nights with. We used Himeji as a central location to take day trips from - since we booked during Golden Week, hotel prices in more ideal areas, such as Kobe, were heavily inflated and unreasonable.Guest review byJacob - 10.0

We are Americans so we had really little knowledge of Shirahama as a resort city. It was at the tail end of a 3 week tour of Japan and was very restful. Fortunately, we were there after Golden Week and before the main tourist season, so it was quiet and relaxing. We had fun over two nights at a local Turkish restaurant, Blue Bar. We'd recommend it. Also, the beach seemed quite nice although we had one day or rain so we didn't hang out there. While this wouldn't be a regular stop for Americans, I think it is worthwhile and an easy train ride to the airport in Osaka.Guest review byAndrew - 10.0

The scenic mountains near the city offers stunning sunset views. The Sakura were in full bloom. There are several parks around the city, and the impressive Wakayama castle. The hotel (Candeo Hotels Nankai) is great value - fantastic river views, rooftop onsen that you can enjoy the sunset. And right at the Wakayama Station. Good dining options around the hotel too.Guest review byKwokSingapore - 10.0
RELAXING QUIET GIFU!
RELAXING QUIET GIFU! We just wanted to visit other places in Japan. We have been to Japan a few times already. We like going to these kind of relaxing places. We went hiking, we walked everywhere since everything was walkable. We had so much local food and sake of course! ONSEN! Nature everywhere! We also met some of my aunt's family and friends. It felt like a home. We love everything in here. We could have stayed longer but will be back and will see the other sights. Thank you GIFU! :)Guest review byisi paniniPhilippines - 10.0
One of Japan's six ancient kiln towns.
One of Japan's six ancient kiln towns. If you are into ceramics it's a brilliant place to visit. If you're not, it's a lovely, relaxed town with nice walks and good places to eat. Very close to Nagoya airport. There is a free shuttle bus into Tokoname or use the station. Home of the lucky waving cat - Maneki Neko!Guest review byCerysUnited Kingdom
