FAQs about hotels in Veneto
Inspiration for Artist and Architect
The Veneto offers relaxation and recreation in world-famous cities and wonderful landscapes. Words don’t do justice to its ever-serene capital Venice, a captivating maze of canals and monuments. Cheap hotels in Venice are scarce, but Mestre across the lagoon offers more budget options.
Cheap flights to Venice land in Treviso, a little version of that fabled city. Also centred on canals is beautiful Chioggia, home to several Veneto hotels on the beach. Yet more are in Caorle, near its distinctive 11th-century bell tower and waterfront church. Another family-friendly Veneto resort with a long beach is Lido di Jesolo.
In studenty Padua, Giotto’s 14th-century frescoes in the Scrovegni Chapel are bursting with colour. The majestic Teatro Olimpico in Vicenza was designed by Palladio, the prolific architect whose villas and churches cover the Veneto. Romantic Verona inspired Romeo and Juliet and has an incredibly well-preserved Roman arena hosting summer opera.
Nearby Lake Garda offers many luxury hotels in the Veneto on Booking.com. By its eastern shore is the popular Gardaland theme park, the elegant Garda promenade, and the wineries of Bardolino.
Grappa was invented in riverfront Bassano del Grappa, and nearby Asolo is one of the region’s most beautiful hill towns. Belluno is overlooked by the Dolomites, while Abano Terme is a spa town by the Colli Euganei, whose undulating hills house vineyards.

It is a magical city once you understand the best way to get around it. I have to recommend a fantastic restaurant close to P.Roma. It's called Venezia KMO Osteria. The food and the service was amazing and the location is right on the canal.Guest review byDebbieSpain - 8.0

In the tourist area Verona is nice but we felt uncomfortable walking into town as some of the areas seem dodgy with huffers etc. We got an Uber home as we weren't comfortable walking on the street.Guest review byNicolaNew Zealand - 6.0

This is a place for people who want to chill on the beach for the entire duration of their holiday. There is barely anything else to do. The beach is an endless forest of sunbeds and parasols with restaurants nearby.Guest review bySzabolcsHungary - 6.0

Generally people sleep in Mestre when they don't want to sleep in Venice Mestre is also more convenient when you have a car than Venice Now there is nothing much to do here and it's better if you avoid walking in the streets at nightGuest review byNicolasPoland - 10.0
Grest for the families.
Grest for the families. If you are looking for a romantic gettaway, I can imagine different place. But If you are looking for a holiday with kids, Liganano, Bibione is the best choice. Nice and warm sea, not too deep, playgrounds, waterpark nearby, lunapark …. Anything to entertain little onesGuest review byHana - 10.0

Caorle is absolutely charming, a beautiful old Venetian town with colorful houses, winding streets, and a unique atmosphere that feels both authentic and relaxed. I loved being able to enjoy the historic center and then walk straight to the beach for a swim. The mix of culture, history, and seaside holiday makes Caorle really special, a place I would happily return to again and again.Guest review byEnriqueAustria - 10.0

Even though its a small town it is really nice, 2 days in enough (one day we spent in Padova and one day we went to Venice). We enjoyed the river walk and a lot of nice restaurants like the Pastasuta restaurant that right at the Padova market.Guest review byTina KCroatia - 6.0

I have the impression that the town has lost so many of its services - supermarkets, fruit and veg shops, delis - and the permanent citizens of Peschiera have put their efforts into restaurants, bars and shops. It is a very pretty town but I feel it is not a real town but a tourist town. In high season the ferries are frequent to visit towns around the lake. The bus service in the area functions but is crowded due to the huge number of tourists.Guest review bySuzanneCanada - 10.0
