Florence is amazing with so many places to visit.
Florence is amazing with so many places to visit. We found some smaller museums that were great to visit and not busy at all. The Dante's Casa museum was a great surprise. The interactive Leonardo DaVinci museum is a must see. Watch out for pickpockets and opportunistic crimes. I was surprised with all the beggars and street people in the Old Town but they mostly left you alone. Train station is close to the Old Town and very easy to go on Day trips to Pisa etc.Guest review byDanCanada - 10.0
An important piece of Italian history.
An important piece of Italian history. The Tower of Pisa goes to show how a faulty piece of architecture can be marketed with great success. The area is spotlessly clean, with plenty of excellent choices for dining, souvenir purchase and other shopping.Guest review byKoduvayurUnited Kingdom - 10.0
It's a beautiful city.
It's a beautiful city. Quite confusing to find your way around. Do not get the train, though. You have a bus replacement at Empoli. I'm fluing back from Pisa and taking the bus to Florence, then the train to Pisa. If you're using Trainline beware of delays which then mess up the rest of the journey. Itabus from Lyon is really comfortable but we were delayed and had to book new connections from Turin. Make sure you have at least two hours leewayGuest review byBridgetUnited Kingdom - 10.0

Great place to stay and a lot of history, arts, and culture to be explored. I didn't expect that it is such a nice and beautiful place. Would recommend to everyone, especially the cafes and tavernas. I had not enough time during my stay to see enough of all the places in Lucca - so will be back - hopefully soon.Guest review byGregorAustria - 4.0

Was not impressed with the city and expected more given all the review I read online. My disapointment could be due to the fact I visited in February, so off season. I booked two nights but decided to only stay for one and left early. Even though I booked a room in the central part of the city I did not feel safe walking the streets at night.Guest review byViktoria - 10.0

We liked exploring the entire City and were fastinated with the old buildings. Only negative comment would be fact you need to pay for the use of the washroom. Most were dirty and lacked toilet seats.Guest review byDanielCanada - 10.0

Viarreggio is a very friendly and family type of town with some great beaches, pleasant pedestrianised streets, restaurants and a lovely park in the centre. Being very flat it is easy for people to get around town and there are many on bikes. Our favourite places to eat were MaMe Restaurant, Osteria l'Imbarco and Ristorante Pizzeria EdenGuest review byKENNETHUnited Kingdom - 10.0

This trip was only a week, but I have stayed here twice before for 3-4 weeks each time. I don't rent a car (but that is a good option). Instead, I use the local buses. The bus to Chuisi is frequent, and from Chuisi you can catch the train to Firenze, Rome, or elsewhere. There are lots of Etruscan museums in the area.Guest review byAnonymous - 8.0

A good base if your a bit more adventurous and don't mind travelling by train. For example Pisa and Florence are both reachable by train but include changing trains at various places. Montecatini itself is a little run down in places with all the spa buildings closed. A nice little town square where a few bars can be found. Montecatini Alto is a gem reached by a funicular railway and Lucca (40 mins by train) is well worth a visit.Guest review byAndrewUnited Kingdom - 10.0
Arezzo had enough history and sites to keep us interested.
Arezzo had enough history and sites to keep us interested. The walkable streets, ruins, and churches were easy to get to. There were plenty of restaurants ti choose from, and it was easy to recognize places where Life is Beautiful were filmed. Friendly and peaceful!Guest review byNatividadUnited States
