- From £186.55 per nightScored out of 10, guest rating 8.4Very Good - What previous guests thought, 365 reviewsThis place is completely beautiful. The rooms are lovely (highly recommend the garden suites with outdoor space, but there is lots of outdoor common space as well). The restaurant is absolutely amazing, we ate breakfast and dinner here for I think 6 of the 7 days we stayed. Everything is delicious but highly recommend the wild boar ragu and the truffle pasta and the fiorentina steak. And the tiramisu. We took a cooking class and leaned how to make pasta and the tiramisu, which was fun and delicious to eat the result afterwards. The staff is here wonderful, they will bend over backwards to make sure your stay is enjoyable and you have everything you need. And the wine is delicious, highly recommend taking the tour and doing the wine pairing dinner. We cannot wait to come back here.Guest review bySarahUnited States
- From £233.49 per nightScored out of 10, guest rating 8.6Excellent - What previous guests thought, 2,415 reviewsWe had a truly wonderful stay at this charming accommodation nestled in the hills of Tuscany. The location was absolutely breathtaking - peaceful, scenic, and the perfect place to relax and reconnect with nature. Although it's just a short drive from Florence and very easy to reach, the setting feels like a world away from the city, offering stunning views over the Tuscan countryside. The room was exactly what we hoped for while the breakfast was generous, delicious, and offering a wide variety of fresh, high-quality options. This place exceeded our expectations in every way, and we wouldn’t hesitate to return. Highly recommended for anyone looking to experience the true essence of Tuscany!Guest review byMagda MRomania

We did not use the spa, but did see it and it looked very good. I did use the fitness centre. It was properly equipped, but the only issue I had was that it was very hot and did not have any proper airflow. On the flip side, I was the only one in there!Guest review byMario HernandoUnited Kingdom

The utensils and cutlery provided were sparkling new. kids loved the ambiance. however, the parking spaces were very poorly organized. very tight spaces between each parking and there was no one to attend to the parking as well. if we needed to raise a concern we would have to walk all the way to the reception (quite a distance) to inform for eg. if someone had parked in your spot. (i did see this happen to another family). a telephone line where we could reach the reception in each bungalow/chalet/tent would have made a differenceGuest review byDeorn Dsouza - 10.0

Amazing property - exceeds expectations in every way. The staff, the scenery, the luxe and comfy room decor, the lovely upgrade, and all the wonderful wine and food on property and in nearby Montefioralle and Greve. SO worth the trip. I have been to Tuscany more times than I can count.
I have been to Tuscany more times than I can count. This is my first time stopping in and staying in Colle di Val d'Elsa. The location is very close to all the major sites in Tuscany. Volterra and San Gimignano are extremely closeby as well as Chianti. There is a charm to the old town area of Colle di Val d'Elsa, not a ton of tourists like the other sites in the area.Guest review byD. CaronanItaly - 8.0
The apartement was even nicer than pictures.
The apartement was even nicer than pictures. There was oil and a bit of vinegar as well as salt and pepper. It would have been nice to have a few more amenities. The pool looked really nice but we did not have time to take advantage of it. Check in was easy even though we arrived very late at night. Same for the check out.Guest review byPatriciaCanada - 10.0

Fantastic little town with tonnes of restaurants and cafes to choose from. The museum ticket is great value as it gets you into lots of the historic sights. We enjoyed the weaponry exhibit as you were allowed to hold and try on the different artefacts which was cool! We parked nearby and paid with card on exit (only line up at the ticket machine if you’re paying cash). The onsite wine shop (connected to the popular winery near by) was delicious too. Would definitely recommend this town for people to visit and dine at!Guest review byLyndalAustralia - 10.0

Gaiole in Chianti is a wonderful little town with a good town center with a good variety of restaurants, a pharmacy and supermarket. It makes the perfect place to make your day trips to other cities, like Siena, Florence, San Gimignano, Rada in Chianti, Greve in Chianti. Also if you want to cycle, the area around Gaiole is perfect.Guest review byjesperDenmark - 6.0
San Casciano is remote in the beautiful Tuscan Hills,...
San Casciano is remote in the beautiful Tuscan Hills, although just 40 minutes slow drive to Florence The hotel is 7 minutes outside the town, so walking is difficult. Need a car to go anywhere. Taxis are not available. This hotel is pretty good, but the much-acclaimed restaurant is, at best, just above average and pricey. Claims to be "special" but isn't! Terrace dining is romantic but watch the wasps in the daytime and mosquitos in the evening. Swmming pool fairly small and crowded. Grounds are pristine and lots of lovely bougainvillea. Reception staff smile a lot. Huge carpark!Guest review byLaurenceUnited Kingdom - 10.0
This place was incredible.
This place was incredible. The property was beautiful and so well kept. The owner, Alex, could t have done more to make sure we were comfortable in our stay and went out of his way to make sure we had everything we needed. He was really friendly, great with our kids and made us feel like we were at home. The rooms were so well decorated, the beds comfy and Alex had great recommendations for exploring the area nearby. I wouldn’t hesitate to come back in an instant.Guest review byGEORGEUnited Kingdom
