If I can give more stars, I will. This is the best stay ever I had so far. The staff is extremely friendly, very good rooms, spacious, toilets were big, nice balcony. Frww shuttle service, good parking facilities, amazing two nights we had.

Fantastic hotel. We only had a small room at the back of hotel as it was only one available . Reception staff were so helpful especially Laura and Mary . Breakfast was so good.Fresh orange juice and lots to choose from. Would diff.recommend this place if your visiting Chique terre.

A Spectacular Sea of Colour

Although one of Italy’s smallest regions, Liguria punches well above its weight for incredible scenery. Its coastline stretching from the French border to the port of La Spezia is lined with brightly coloured houses, including those spectacularly hugging cliffs in the Cinque Terre villages.

Equally impressive is Portofino harbour, one of the most beautiful in Italy. In a country that counts Venice, Sorrento and Capri amongst its harbour towns, that’s quite some accolade. Next door Rapallo has a long promenade watched over by a castle.

Levanto’s promenade is supported by pillars on the beach below and overlooks mountains descending into the Mediterranean Sea. Portovenere at the tip of a peninsula has a Gothic church on a rocky outcrop.

The Liguria capital is Genoa, Italy’s busiest port and home to one of Europe’s largest Old Towns. Varazze to the west has a sweeping beach, as does Alassio – 2 resorts with lots of Liguria hotels on the beach on Booking.com. A fortress guards the entrance to Savona harbour, while Albenga has medieval spires and cobbled streets.

Great detail has been executed to provide their guests with a feel good experience. Checking in and out and parking was made easy by the hotel.     This totally refurbished Palazzo is beautifully situated within the protecting walls of a stunning yet dreamy park overlooking the lovely city of Alassio and the Mediterranean Sea. A a place and a view you will never forget. The staff is beyond friendly and helpful, the rooms top class, calm and wonderfully decorated. Our room had an amazing balcony with seaview. All amenities you can think of are available in the room. The brand new Spa and Wellness area comprise a modern Finnish sauna, a hammam, fitness room and massage and wellness treatments The price may be a little steep, but this place is a hidden jewel on the Ligurian coast and the staff its gems.     The apartment is spacious, the bed is very comfortable. We saw the sea, the pool and the mountains from the bed and from the terrace as well. The swimmingpool is super with the view of the sorrounding mountains. You need swimming cap in the pool! The staff is very friendly, helpful. There are sport facilities, soccer field, tennis, volleyball. There are programs and music around the pool all day long, for the kids as well with animator. The city is a good starting point for visiting Cote d'azur, Monaco, Genova.

    Genova is an interesting city.

    Genova is an interesting city. Now, you can find lots of info on the internet, so I will not repeat. What I find interesting about Genova is the upper parts of it (up hill) and those areas outside the Old Town and the port - those two are nice but classic touristy places. I would like to go back to the city for a longer time, to have time to explore those "real city" areas.

    La Spezia is a great town-lots of great shops, restaurants and bars for aperitivo. Very walkable and people very friendly. Perfect jumping point for access to Cinque Terre. We found it a perfect balance using Cinque Terre card and taking train in daily. More affordable and more active later in the evening so ideal for our trip.

    Sanremo city itself is very disappointing.

    Sanremo city itself is very disappointing. Streets and sea promenade are very dirty, stinky and overcrowded, sea is green, polluted, swimming caused allergies on my skin. The air in the city is extremely polluted as well: a lot of bikes and cars, very stressful. Food in the restaurants is not tasty, average, in some of them it is impossible to eat at all. I don't recommend to visit Sanremo to anyone, because it is waste of money, spoiled vacation, for a crazy big price.

    Monterosso al Mare is kept very clean and we felt safe. Nice walking paths and many restaurants and shops to see. Even though it is a beach town, you don't see many children. It's more of a romantic adult getaway spot. Restaurants are small and most seating is on the patio. Many cannot accommodate strollers or parties greater than 4.

    Rapallo was charming.

    Rapallo was charming. Beautiful historical center with a nice choice of restaurants. We found it easy to get to Cinque Terra by train. We also traveled to Porta Fino by bus and returned by ferry - both were very scenic trips.

    We loved the beach which was directly across the road.

    We loved the beach which was directly across the road. We ate at the beach and it was good food. We mostly stayed at the beach most of the day and we appreciated the parking at the hotel. We loved playing in the water and just relaxing at the beach for the day. The hotel was a convenient location and was very clean and the host was very friendly and helpful.

    Perfect place to stay if you want to visit Portofino.

    Perfect place to stay if you want to visit Portofino. Relaxed and laidback. Promenade with lots of restaurants. Great beach. Ferry or bus to other villages. Feels Italian, not as pricey and touristy as Portofino.

    Lovely town with many shops, restaurants and plenty to do.

    Lovely town with many shops, restaurants and plenty to do. The beach and the sea looked very inviting even in winter! Easy to walk around and we found it very easy to visit nearby towns using trains which are reasonably priced and comfortable. Not easy to park near the centre, but there are several car parks for a reasonable hourly rate.

    I really enjoyed the beach at levanto and the night life was...

    I really enjoyed the beach at levanto and the night life was exciting, every evening the had organised some kind of a event . The most exciting part was the bicycle ride along the galerie levanto- bonassola. Also the punta della madonna ( chiesetta madonnino della punta ) was reachable with a cycle. Anyone should walk along ( hike) through the sentiero levanto- monterosso.

    The best on the Cinque Terre villages in our opinion.

    The best on the Cinque Terre villages in our opinion. Plenty of restaurants to choose from or takeways to sit in the harbour and eat plus bars. No cover charges like the other resorts we visited. Great atmosphere. The Cinque Terre is overpriced in general not just for food/drink but also the tourist tax/ train tickets/ walking trails etc. but as long as you know this it is a lovely place so you need to tick the area off your list
